Less than a 20-minute drive from the park entrance, the hotel is next to a unique Ukrainian restaurant, and the nearby town of Ashford offers even more dining options. The room was spotlessly clean, and a light, fresh scent filled the air upon opening the door. The hotel's log cabin design was truly atmospheric, and the constant flickering of the fireplace provided a warm welcome in the chilly May weather of Rainier. The wildlife specimens in the lobby were truly stunning, and they thoughtfully prepared a hot water bottle, a favorite among Chinese tourists. Overall, it was a truly wonderful stay.

Hotels in scenic areas shouldn't be expected to be too high-end. There's no elevator, and with three suitcases, staying on the second floor was quite uncomfortable. It's near the road, which is convenient for getting up early, and it's indeed very close to the scenic area entrance. However, the government offices are closed these days, so there are no staff on duty; anyone can enter for free.

Their website said there was HOT breakfast but there was NO breakfast at all. The ONLY reason I booked a room at $400+ for one room with ONE bathroom for SIX people is because I thought there was breakfast and I would not have to pay that extra expense out of pocket. If you do not pffer breakfast you really need to update your website because you definitely "catfished" us.

Great place right outside Mt. Rainier National Park. Very friendly staff; big, clean rooms; super convenient. Our family of six had two rooms and we were very comfortable and pleased with our stay.

The Nisqually Lodge was very close to Mt. Rainier National Park and a couple of great restaurants. The lodge was clean, cozy and family friendly. They had board games for the kids, coffee and hot cocoa in the lobby, and a stuffed bear -- not the teddy bear kind -- at the top of the stairs toward the guestrooms. The staff was friendly and helpful. My family will definitely stay again.
