The floor I live in is equipped with a public toilet and bathroom, and next to the bathroom is a vending machine and a coin-operated washing machine. But it is very clean, the hotel is a bit too far, but not far away, you can go to the front desk with a hair dryer and a kettle. Two nights in the middle of the door

The room is a little small, but everything else is good. The breakfast has few varieties, but it is delicious. Although the location is not as good as those in front of the station, it is not bad, 300 meters away, but it is a bit troublesome to go to aeon to grab the 50% discount bento at night, and you need to go back and forth in the air conditioning.

Since it is a business hotel, the rooms are small and there is no parking lot. After checking with the hotel, they introduced us to a nearby parking lot, and we parked at the Times next door. It was 800 yen for 12 hours, and the next morning, it was 1600 yen to take out the car.
We stayed in winter, so there were people from overseas and people heading to ski resorts.
For the children, they gave us slippers, toothbrushes, handkerchiefs, etc. in a separate bag, and although they did not provide towels or other amenities, the children were happy.
(Since it is a downtown area, there are many shops, but nowadays, many places that serve alcohol do not allow children, so I called in advance in Asahikawa to check, but several stores did not allow children. It was difficult to find a restaurant. Shinkarou, a Chinese restaurant 3 minutes walk from the hotel, is OK for children. They even reserved a seat for us.)

Good hotel. Helpful staff. Comfortable bed, but unfortunately the pillow didn't suit me very well. Onsen👍🏻 Breakfast is excellent, the view from the restaurant is gorgeous. Convenient location - 3 minutes walk to the train station. The room was very warm even without air conditioning, although it was -13 outside.
Of the shortcomings, perhaps, there was only a window overlooking a fence and a wall of the building (we lived on the 2nd floor), but this is not critical.

Stepping into OMO7 Asahikawa in October is like entering a whimsical, yet refined autumn wonderland. The hotel’s commitment to its local roots shines through, from the delightful Halloween décor to the quirky concierge team, each donning animal masks that pay homage to Asahikawa’s natural inhabitants—squirrels, rabbits, and even the elusive Ezo deer. These playful touches make every guest feel part of the seasonal festivities.
The rooms are a modern take on casual luxury, offering just enough space for comfort without compromising on style. The raised platform bed is a clever design element, providing practical storage underneath and adding to the room’s sleek aesthetic. A standout feature is the open-air lounge on the fifth floor, an unexpected retreat furnished with contemporary pieces crafted by Asahikawa artisans. On chilly evenings, guests can cozy up next to a real bonfire, fleece blankets at hand, savoring the warmth after a rejuvenating sauna.
Though the public bath boasts a modern, serene ambiance, its popularity can be surprising—on one evening, I found myself queuing for a shower cubicle, an unusual experience in such a tranquil setting. But any minor inconvenience was quickly forgotten, thanks to the small, thoughtful touches scattered throughout the hotel. Most memorable was the welcome drink station by the concierge, where Haskap juice—served from a bear motif faucet—offered a burst of refreshing, tangy delight.
Breakfast at OMO7 is all about quality over quantity. The buffet may not overwhelm with variety, but each dish, from seasonal delights like salmon on waffles to the perfectly creamy scrambled eggs, feels lovingly curated. It’s a modest spread, but one where every bite counts, making the start to each day a little more special.
OMO7 Asahikawa manages to balance fun and sophistication with effortless grace—truly a hidden gem for those looking to explore this lesser-known corner of Japan in style.

Outstanding
GGuest UserHotel is conveniently located next to JR train station and above Aeon Mall for plenty of food choices. We actually came by car and parking is a flat 800Yen paid to reception and they will issue you a parking ticket which allows for multiple entries during your stay. Breakfast is basic, breakfast area is actually one of the restaurants in the mall.
AAnonymous UserI love how convinient the location is. It is basically just outside of the Asahikawa station entrance, next to the bus stations and opposite the Aeon Mall. The room is clean, and it is comfortable. You can rent many items from the hotel for free ex. Pillow, charger, luggage rack... I enjoyed my stay there and have good nice sleep! The price is cheap too. Totally worth it!
If you choose no cleaning service on daily basis, they give you free drinks! I chose Beer and Tea I also love the window that can open and the view from the window.
However, the toilet is very tiny. I feel ”cramep”. I am 160cm and I doesn't feel comfortable to take shower in the bathtub. I almost touch the ceiling. The towel rack is also too tiny that can hardly hang your towel or clothes. Maybe suitable for small kids. LOL. It got ”plastic cracking sound” when I step in the bathtub for shower. The entire toilet feels like a plastic Lego toy ”stuck” to the room. Cute. LOL. Acceptable. I think they should add some hooks in the toilet to hang our items.
The sound proof not sure if it is good. I don't know why you touch or hit the wall it make a huge sound. Like when you take the hanger, it will easily hit the wall board and produce large sound. When you take shower, you will easily hit the wall too. So I always heard those sounds from the next room. Not noises of speaking or music etc but the sound of hitting something. Thank God no noises in the midnight.
BBOVery general, the price is not high. First of all, there is no restaurant nearby. We don’t know which predecessor said that the store will produce delicious soba noodles. ! Secondly, the sound insulation is particularly bad, plus we stayed in the next night, 12 young men (the names on the doors of both rooms, I counted, one six, add up to twelve) and sipped at two in the morning. Drunk, open a party in the room. I am angered, directly slammed the door, the Chinese, English and Japanese three words together, went downstairs to call the doorkeeper uncle. Finally, I can't communicate. The front desk and I also hold the same kind of translation, and talk to each other.
AAnonymous UserThe location of this hotel is fantastic as it’s bery near the station. However I think the breakfast is so so and the onsen facilities is ok only. Not really bad, just prefer some things are better..
The room window view was not really interesting as it was facing the parking building.
GGuest UserThe location is within 10 minutes walking distance from JR station. The overall experience is good. There are hot springs to soak in, a drink bar in the evening, popsicles to enjoy, and coffee all day long. There are also a variety of breakfast options, and there is a small children's playroom. Overall 4 nights were very enjoyable.
GGuest UserService was excellent, friendly staff, also great homey breakfast. Location was convenient, close to the JR station and AEON shopping centre. Air conditioning wasn’t cold though, that was the only issue we had.
YYob0o0The location is easy to find, and parking is only a few steps away from the hotel door.
The bathhouse closes too early, at 11 p.m., and friends who booked a small room cannot take a shower at night (because the room only has a toilet)
I booked a family room with a bathtub.
There are many choices of baths~ It feels okay
The scenery outside the room is pretty good
XXinwuxianchenThe breakfast is quite exquisite, rich in variety, filling, clean and hygienic.
The room is relatively small, the facilities are average, and the hygiene is acceptable. Considering the convenience of transportation, it is acceptable to stay. Maybe in order to have more time for cleaning, breakfast ends at 9:30, and the front desk will call to check out at 10:00
SsyudzYou need a car for this location.
But, the hotel is awesome especially for kids.
They have many play spaces, board games, and breakfast can be taken up in the hallway or brought to the room. Very nice home cooked warm meal, and very friendly kitchen lady.
And a very huge room and bath.Love my stay and will recommend this hotel.
GGuest UserAmazing house with a huge amount of space, impeccably clean. The house felt brand new, and it doesn't get more private. I felt like I was in my own universe. My only complaint is that the host company BreakOut threatens to charge you 5,000 yen for every 30 minutes of late checkout after 10:00AM. This is extremely hostile against your guests. Here is the exact wording from the welcome email:
”Leaving the room after check-out time will be considered a late check-out without permission. A fee of 5,000 yen will be charged for every 30 minutes.”
We were also threatened about being liable of the pipes freeze. While this is a vacation rental in the winter, and we understand their concern about liability, you can advise about this without overtly threatening financial penalties. This speaks to the mean spirited nature of BreakOut (the property management company / private equity firm) and for this reason we will never rent from them again. This is a company that viciously attacks anyone for the sake of profit, and they should probably be on Wall Street rather than running a hospitality company. The smart companies get someone nice as the front facing staff. At Tomato Cube there is absolutely no one, nor was there any email address provided for contact. It is just a ghost ship out there. Even the coffee shop and thai restaurant nearby were totally abandoned.
