Holiday Inn is a quite new hotel right across the Erekle palace and his statue. There is a free public parking place around the hotel. The room with a balcony gives a beautiful view at the palace and the statue with the mountains behind (rooms at the back have not such advantage). It is very clean and large enough, with all the basic necessities, including a safe, a gown and slippers. It has very good lights, also for reading in bed (and plenty of sockets for charging). Wi-Fi is free and works well. There is practically no noise from (not very busy) street traffic. In short the room is perfect. All staff is very well trained, friendly and speaks English. The breakfast is also excellent - not too little and not too much but everything was fresh. It serves also the real coffee from espresso machine instead usual instant one like in many other hotels. The dinner was also very tasty with various Georgian dishes. The hotel has also a small indoor swimming pool at the 5th floor, free to use for its guests. Any requests from our side were promptly and adequately fulfilled. There was really nothing to complain about. We had a perfect stay and as the hotel is very well located close to the (very busy) center it is a ideal starting point to discover Telavi and its surroundings. This is the best hotel we have visited since long. It offers an exceptional quality for a reasonable price. Highly recommended!

The hotel has a cozy feel. Nice courtyard with pool, comfortable lobby, modernly decorated rooms and nice staff. Price was good. We had a king room. It was nice quality, but quite small. Only room for the bed. The lobby was nice, so we sat there. The room wasn't really for sitting in (though it did have a balcony which could be nice in warmer weather). The view (from the 2nd floor) was of the courtyard, just a small view of the tops of the mountains in the background. Next time I would ask for the lux apartment or family room instead in order to get a view and to enjoy relaxing in the room itself more.
