Agroturismo Malbuger NOU Menorca -Adults Only-

A really fantastic place to relax. Everything was of a high standard and all the team of family and staff were friendly, efficient and welcoming. The adapted room was of a high standard with a lift very near and the ground so easy to access. The food and service were 5* and we felt lucky to have enjoyed the hospitality and service. We would recommend visiting with no hesitation and have rarely enjoyed such an excellent environment.

Such a wonderful place to stay, beautifully maintained gardens, spotlessly clean and wow the breakfasts were beyond amazing, different every morning. Most friendly and lovely staff. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this place.

A new property and welcome addition to the island. A lot of thought went into the details for this property and the result is that it is truly a lovely environment. There is a lot of emphasis on sustainability. The rooms are quite spacious, was in the main building. The private cottages seems nice but are considerably more cost. The room was very modern though given energy restrictions the ac is not very strong. The pool and grounds are relaxing. It is mostly quiet though you can hear some Mahon traffic. There are bikes on property and good walking/running/biking trails nearby. Easy access to many great beaches,etc. Staff very helpful in providing recommendations. The massage was outstanding!! Book in advance upon arrival and you won't regret. The only reasons for 4 stars instead of 5 is that I found it inconvenient to not have a mini fridge in the room to had to instead use their honor bar. They only have glass bottles which is not ideal for by the pool or the beach. In fact one bottle was dropped at the beach and broke having broken glass that was dangerous and hard to clean up at the beach. Given the heat, could not have cold water in the room. Had to ask for ice, no ice station either. Also there were a lot of flies in the dining room - you are on a working farm so understand that - but b/c of this did not have dinner. In order to have breakfast you needed to cover the food on the table with napkins otherwise the flies were everywhere. Not sure if fans or screens would help? This is part of staying on a sustainable farm so not necessarily something other people might mind but for sure to keep in mind.

This hotel is so great! The people are very nice and do everything for you. Great restaurant, unbelievable breakfast, modern rooms, nice pool with sun and shade. A perfect place to calm down. And a perfect mix of traditional agrotourismo and modernity. I really enjoyed our stay here!

We really enjoyed our short break at Malbuger Nou - the accommodation was first class, the grounds were very beautiful ,the service we received was outstanding.

First the positives. The hotel is modern and is really tasteful, everything is spotless and a great location to get to Mahon. The road outside has a dedicated running/cycle lane going north and south and this was nice for an early morning run. The staff are incredibly kind and are more than happy to give tips and advice. The pool is also great. So in terms of facilities and room it's 6 out of 5. I take away 2 stars because of the kitchen: Breakfast is plentiful but you get what you get. They dont even offer eggs which is quite a standard expectation. The dining room gets very hectic and the waiter goes under water (not his fault, too much work for one person). No matter what time we arrived, every morning was busy and well he was in a whirlwind and the food was always cold or like it had been laying on a plate for too long. Dinner was not much better and we only ate here once and decided not to repeat. The desert was great but the starter and main were both served cold and well generally I felt the food wasn't receiving too much love, hardly any seasoning etc. Considering the prices, it should have been much much better. Other guests seem to rave about the kitchen so perhaps the chef was having a bad few days or we were just unlucky but for this reason and despite the many positives, I would not stay here again.

Malburger is a beautiful concept, very well executed and generously run. Pepe is a great host, eager to show you the best parts of his home island. The modern design works very well in the setting of the small holding and very attractive garden. Everything has been well thought out in the room. Breakfast were generous and innovative with home made produce, generous fruit, cheese, meat. The dinner we had was amazing, served by Javi, who is an excellent co-host.

We enjoyed our stay at the Agroturismo Malbuger. The environment and the facility (rooms, terraces, pool, garden...) are charming, but the best remains the service : genuine and simple, but attentive and customized. We had an amazing diner and breakfast with fresh products, to a large extent grown on site. The dishes were tasty, attractive and original. Our experience was seamless and we only regret that we stayed for a short visit. We will be back.
