Took my wife to Appomattox for a couple days. Stayed here at the inn. This place had a 2 1/2 star rating through AAA, but 4 1/2 through TripAdvisor. It was close to the museum and courthouse, which was a plus. Come to find out out, thanks to the lady at the desk, there was some other shopping close by to get some things to eat. The hotel is only a few minutes away from downtown, but because of the pandemic, I noticed a lot of the shops were closed. I booked a king suite, which was great. The room was clean, robes were furnished, 28in tv in living room, microwave and refrigerator. Bedroom had a bench, and a cabinet like dresser with a 32in tv. Two individual thermostats control the temperature in the room. There’s a barn door that closes the bathroom and opens the closet revealing a spare blanket and sheets. The place is better than the hotel I stayed at in DC. If you’re in the area, I highly recommend staying here. The staff is worth the visit alone.
