This hotel was booked on the same day and I am very satisfied. The advantage is high cost performance and warm service. On Senggigi Beach, just one hotel away from Quincy. The layout design is small and exquisite, and watching the sunset in the restaurant is also beautiful. The disadvantage is that the swimming pool is a bit small, there is no beach outside, it is a reef, but it should be possible to go down from the edge to the beach of other hotels, and you can also walk.

The Matahari Inn is definitely long past its prime! It was probably once a very good hotel, but it was simply not maintained and urgently needs a complete renovation! The rooms are large and spacious, and the beds are also pleasantly large. However, you can see in the rooms that nothing has been renovated for a long time! Cracks in the tiles and the cleanliness is also rather below average! But this was still somewhat OK. BUT the bathrooms are an absolute disgrace and it is actually impossible to rent rooms with bathrooms like that! There were 3 couples of us, the same in all 3 rooms! All the fittings were rusty and corroded! In our bathroom the shower holder was broken, so the shower head always had to be held in our hand! There was no soap at the sink, no glasses for the toothbrushes, and there was only one bath towel, no extra towel! There was only one roll of toilet paper in the bathroom, no spare. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful, but it is clear everywhere that the hotel management is absolutely inadequate! When the rooms are ”cleaned”, only the beds are made, the bathroom is not cleaned at all! At breakfast, the staff have to be repeatedly alerted when something is missing or finished! There were always enough service staff on hand, but no one checked independently whether everything was available. The cups and especially the saucers were also very old and not inviting to drink your coffee from! It is clear everywhere that the staff have not been trained and are not monitored or trained! The junior manager told us that the hotel had been empty for 7 years and you can tell! This hotel has so much potential as it is in an absolutely prime location, but as long as it is managed as it is currently, I can only say, never again!

I stayed for 4 nights at the resort and it was amazing. Everyone was welcoming and attentive to my every needs. I got the room with sunset view and despite the rainy season I was able to enjoy it. I love all the services available in the hotel (as mentioned on the website). I didn’t have to get out. I had a great spa treatment, the food at the resort was yummy as well as the cocktails. The resort can answer to your every needs. All the reviews were spot on. The chef even accommodated some changes I asked for. I should I have booked for a longer stay. The view is peaceful and relaxing. The room was spacious, the bed soft and I enjoyed sleeping in it. Love the bedside story and biscuits left every night. I like hearing the sound of the waves, I was at peace and got all the rest I needed during my stay. Thanks you so much for making my stay such amazing and wonderful moment.

Location: Very close to Senggigi Beach, less than five kilometers away, but the sand on the beach there is black and the slope is relatively large, which is not as good as the hotel's own beach service. Facilities: Complete facilities, toiletries, slippers, hair dryers, and small refrigerators are available in the room, but there is no bottled water. There is a water bottle, and you can get water from the water dispenser in the corridor. There is a Starbucks in the lobby, which is very convenient for drinking coffee. There is also a small rooftop bar on the third floor where you can eat and drink, and there are band performances. In addition to the gym and swimming pool, there is also a trail that can go up the mountain. Environment: Clean and sanitary, cleaned in time, the overall environment of the hotel is very good, across the road from the hotel is the beach, where you can order a drink, sit on the beach to watch the sunset, and there are also bands playing. This is also the hotel's motorcycle parking lot, which can be parked for free and is very safe. Service: The service is enthusiastic, the staff will greet you warmly, and will respond actively if there is a need. The hotel provides 24-hour ordering and massage services.

This old dame is a little tired ( 30 years old) but functional and got great grounds and gardens and well maintained. An upgrade to a sea view room was most appreciated. Service was prompt although at time the wait time could be improved but what the hell you are on holidays. A worth mention is the welcoming and caring attitude of all staff of the hotel. Buffet breakfast was well balanced and offer local and western food items. Good size pool with separate children’s pool, sufficient loungers at most times. A better spread of T V channels would be nice but if not be sure you bring a tablet or iPad along to get informed about happenings, Wi-Fi is available everywhere so is good thing. Am pleased with the hotel.
