I had a great time staying at this hotel! Everything feels brand new and super high-tech — they even provide an electric toothbrush, which was such a nice touch. You can control the aircon and TV with your voice, and the whole room setup feels smooth and modern. I booked a suite with a peaceful, green view. Some trees block part of the river, but I personally liked the added privacy and nature vibes. For my parents, I chose a 270-degree view room — it offers a much clearer view of the Li River. The room is slightly smaller than the suite, but the view is absolutely worth it. Before staying here, I actually stayed at a hotel near Elephant Trunk Hill (象鼻山). That area was super busy and noisy, especially during the holidays. Compared to that, this hotel is on the quieter side of the river and feels much more relaxing. There’s also a beautiful park right next to the hotel, which is great for morning or evening walks. The location is still convenient — you can walk to sightseeing spots easily. Plus, there are plenty of food options nearby, and delivery is super easy. What really made the stay memorable was the service. I’ve lived in China for three years, and this was honestly the best hotel service I’ve ever received. Everyone — from the front desk to the canteen to housekeeping — was incredibly friendly and welcoming. Only minor downside: parking is limited. If you’re driving during a holiday, you might have to look around for a spot. If you’re after comfort, smart tech, and warm, genuine hospitality — this is the place to stay!

Fantastic hotel! I stayed for two nights with my friend and they’ve provided awesome 24/7 front service, kind staff, and you can call whenever if you need anything. The rooms are also very very clean, there’s an awesome view for the one I booked. On top of that, the location is PERFECT, if you like shopping or simply just lookin around, they have a whole street right outside that is a night market with lots of clothing, accessory, food, etc stores. I personally 1000000/10 recommend this hotel!!!! (The rooms are much bigger than the pictures I took lmao)

Beautiful and spacious new rooms. Hotel was also centrally located and beautifully decorated. Breakfast was sumptious and of a wide variety, and was served on top floor with a wonderful view of lake! On top of that, service was great and they offered hot desserts in our room due to the cold weather. Cannot ask for a better hotel to stay in.

Hotel is located conveniently near major tourist attractions, right in front of the Elephant trunk hill, nice view at of the Sun and Moon Pagodas from the hotel restaurant. Room was clean and comfortable, nice gesture by the to provide complimentary soft toys for both of my children to bring back home as souvenirs.

This is my most value for money stay for a long time. I was given a free upgrade and the staff were really pleasant and helpful. The room was extremely spacious and heater warmed up the room well despite the single digit temperature. Had a morning breakfast buffet for 38rmb which is quite value for money for the choice of selection. Would totally recommend this to anyone. Also book a day trip to Longji Rice Terrace from their service desk for 200rmb which was also one of the cheapest I can find.

Overall a very nice hotel but I wouldn't give it 5 stars. In my opinion it's more of a 3-4 star boutique hotel. The room was very large and nice, with 3 panoramic windows to the courtyard in front of the entrance. No unpleasant smells, one window with mosquito net. The TV didn't work, meaning it didn't have regular channels connected. The bathroom very large but unfortunately without any heating. In my opinion too cold for a bath or shower. Leaving the door to the room open and raising the room thermostat to 30 degrees Celsius didn't change anything. Welcome fruits were very nice. Free afternoon tea modest, exactly as shown on the photo during booking. Amenities with too strong for my taste, masculine smell. Based on the number of seats in the dining room (only 24), I think it's a really small hotel, so the breakfast had a very limited choice and quantity, but it was tasty. At the check out each guest receives a pack of local tea. The location of the hotel is excellent. It is connected by bus 18 or 100 with Guilin North station but I don't recommend taking bus. First of all, tickets from Guangzhou or Shenzhen should work, but they didn't, and neither did Allipay. One ticket costs 2 yuan, and you can pay in cash. More importantly, there is no overground crossing between the nearest bus stop and the hotel. You have to use an underground passage [a lot of stairs, no lift], and with suitcases it's a big problem. In the other direction, from the hotel to the station, there's no such problem. Taxi cost around 0.25 euros per kilometer.

The hotel is conveniently located within walking distance of the main attractions. Our room was spacious and the beds were comfortable, which made for a great stay after a long day visiting the city. Breakfast was included, while the selection of Western options was a bit limited, overall it was satisfying. The staff were exceptionally kind and welcoming — special thanks to 小廖 and 小阳 for their outstanding service!

Special thanks to Mr. Max who handled my check-in and showed us to our room, and also gave us helpful tips on nearby attractions. Our Elephant themed family room is superb with great amenities, plush toys, welcome fruit platter and delightful hot dessert sent to the room. Special thanks for Mr. Jimmy Zhao who handled our check-out with excellent warm hospitality. This is the best hotel we have stayed in China and highly recommended. Keep up the good work.

This is an honest review! I am so glad I booked this hotel, from 5 years my dream was to visit Guilin and the most important thing and the highlight of my trip was this hotel! AMAZING is a little word to describe how fantastic my stay was! First the hotel is very clean. The view and the scenery is fantastic it’s so dreamy. Food is great. Location is also great easy to go to the downtown and sightseeing by taxi 20 mins and far away from the crowd and more into the hills. Price is amazing too. Last but not least the staff is what makes everything perfect in this hotel. The staffs there were so friendly, and the hotel breakfast was nice. Will definitely book this hotel if i ever come to guilin again. Love the hotel’s room too, especially the toilet and they even gave us bath bomb and bath salt after requesting.
