Our stay at the Crowne Plaza Hotel near Changbai Mountain was delightful. While the room was slightly dated, it was clean and comfortable, providing a relaxing atmosphere amidst the stunning mountain views. The staff (小张和小邹) offered excellent service, and the dining options featured a tasty mix of local and international dishes. One of the highlights was the outdoor hot spring, which was awesome in the freezing winter! With easy access to hiking trails and scenic spots, it’s a perfect blend of luxury and nature. Highly recommended for a rejuvenating getaway!

The room is clean, the facilities are complete, the breakfast is rich, there are many hot spring pools, and fruit plates and essential oil soaps are given as gifts. The experience is good and it is well received!

The room is really big. Later I stayed in Wanda Smart Xipo for two nights, which was not as good as this one. It is very close to Beipo Distribution Center on foot, only a few hundred meters. You can see Changbai Mountain on the top floor. The breakfast is quite rich. The pick-up service is very convenient. There is a supermarket downstairs and many restaurants.

I originally wanted to book Hilton, but later I found out that there are mountain villas here, which is great for our family of 12! I like this place for its cost-effectiveness and humanization. The front desk is very friendly. I called several times before going, and they all understood my doubts. Food: 1. The welcome fruit is very rich. 2. The breakfast is rich, and the salad is very suitable for Guangzhou's stomach. I haven't eaten vegetables for a few days. 3. The chef of the hotel restaurant is very popular with me. Jiangmi chicken must be tried. The portion is large and the chicken tastes fragrant. The disadvantage is that the ribs are refrigerated meat and not fresh. The waiter is indifferent and is playing with his mobile phone. There is no takeaway nearby, and the delivery starts at 500. The hotel restaurant is a little expensive. Play: 1. It takes three minutes to walk to the hot spring, which is very convenient, but the hardware is five-star and the service is three-star. I asked the front desk of the hot spring if the car has arrived, and the answer was: you wait outside! 2. Skiing for three hours and dressing for two hours. Ask the hotel front desk to order ski clothes. It is best to wear them in the hotel in advance. The attitude of the ski resort staff is very good. In addition, when the shuttle bus was leaving, I waited at the gate. When I came back, there was no bus. I asked everyone but couldn’t find it. 3. Changbai Mountain VIP channel, convenient and fast

I'm afraid my experience wasn't the best. When arrived our room, the floor (carpet) was super dirty. We complained to reception and they sent a cleaning lady. She wasn't super happy to clean the floor but we waited patently. Once she finished we open the bed and saw some hairs. We called reception again. This time one of the hotel managers came to meet us. She apologized and decided to upgrade us to a nicer and bigger room for free. They still took over one hour to clean it to make sure it was in acceptable conditions. I'm not sure we were just unlucky or that is the normal standard in that hotel. In any case, the new room was good to stay and we were happy with their efforts. Breakfast is almost inexistent for foreigners and it finishes way too early: 8:30. Arriving twice at 8am, we could barely find food. Except for this location, is good (close to train station, close to hospital where you can do virus test, close to connection point to enter Changbaishan (North), close to some big green areas (pine forests) where you can have enjoyable walks in the morning or after dinner. As a conclusion, if I may give some constructive feedback to hotel manager: - please consistently and thoroughly clean your rooms when guests leave; - extended breakfast time to at least 9:30; - include more variety in the breakfast and make sure quantities are at decent level by 8:00.

Exceptional Stay in Changbaishan – Highly Recommended! I recently stayed at a hotel in Changbaishan, and I must say it exceeded all my expectations. From start to finish, everything was managed exceptionally well, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable experience. The hotel is beautifully maintained, with rooms that are both comfortable and impeccably clean. One of the standout features was the outdoor onsen—an absolutely amazing place to unwind amidst the serene natural surroundings. The decoration in front of hotel with rows and rows of cute snowmen are also very lovely, we took plenty of photos there. Additionally, the free transportation services were incredibly efficient, including a convenient shuttle service to and from the train station and free transfers to the ski site. The staff were all friendly and helpful, even though communication was sometimes challenging as we don’t speak Mandarin. A special shoutout to Ms. Zhang Yong Ping 张永评 (WeChat: Xin Xin 鑫鑫), the guest manager from the front desk department, who went above and beyond to ensure our stay was flawless. Ms. Zhang provided us with outstanding butler service and demonstrated exceptional kindness, professionalism, and hospitality. She helped us navigate the complexities of buying tickets and traveling to Changbaishan, ensured we boarded the correct buses, and even made sure we didn’t miss any important connections. Due to high season, we couldn’t secure a room in Building 3 for our second night and had to reserve rooms in Building 2 via an online platform. Ms. Zhang kindly and proactively made arrangements so we could stay in Building 3 throughout our visit—a thoughtful gesture that made a huge difference. Every aspect of our stay was well taken care of, and the staff’s dedication to providing excellent service truly stood out. Thanks to Ms. Zhang and the entire hotel team, our time in Changbaishan was a wonderful experience. I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area. We’re grateful for the warm hospitality and look forward to returning in the future!

The hotel service is very good, and they will send us to the high-speed rail station. The location is right next to the water rafting, and they also gave us two rafting tickets. It is very convenient to go rafting. It takes only 8 minutes to walk there, so you don’t have to get up too early to queue up! I like their special rooms very much. There is a big iron pot for bathing, and you can also feel the Northeast flavor on the kang. The room is also very large. I like this style very much! The food we brought by ourselves was cold when we arrived at the hotel, and the hotel also helped us heat up all the meals. It was really warm❤️

Great location! ! It is recommended that tourists who come to Erdaobaihe and Beipo come to live in this store. Opposite is the edelnut flower, ten minutes walk to eat in the town, and ten minutes to the Beipo distribution center. It is the center of these three. When I came here, there was a driver who picked up the station. After that, I walked, and it was not difficult to take a taxi when I left. The big problem of traffic is solved. Health is also done well, bath towels are disposable, each floor is particularly warm. The breakfast was full and the food was real every morning. The front desk saw that we brought the children and upgraded to the family room. The service attitude was very good and warm. Travel is very pleasant!

Booked this hotel due to VIP tianchi & free 3 hrs ski. However, we are still resolving an issue of refunding deposit. Deposit of 1300 was not claimed due to rushing of check out. It was a tricky refund and process is taking long due to cash was involved. Hope it can resolve soon. Overall, the welcoming and service is excellent. However, the hotel is abit inaccessible. This means it hard to get to town and food choices are limited unless u pay rmb 80 to town. 2 places to dine in hotel- level 1 skewer and steamboat buffet 188 per pax and level 2 korean food. Please dont dine at Korean restaurant. The food is expensive and not nice. The beef soup and meat doesn’t have any beef taste and waiter reply adding chili to spice the soup. This doesn’t mean any sende as the soup will taste chili instead of beef.

Check in to the hotel, the package includes all the reservations and tickets, which are relatively timely, the service is very good 👍👍, especially they can arrange a car to pick us up from the high-speed rail station to the hotel for free. The hotel decoration style is what I like, comfortable and warm. The hotel has indoor and outdoor hot springs, the experience is good, 👍👍.
