Start Hotel

The hotel was easy to get to as it was right on the tram line. The hotel was pretty central to Hadrians Gate and Kalieci. I chose this hotel because a read a lot of good reviews so I was very surprised that the non smoking room I booked was so stinking of smoke that it seriously took all the positives away right from the first entering up the room. A really good job I’m a savvy traveller and never without my Fabreze! But I’m afraid it’s going to take a lot more than a bottle of Fabreze to get the tobacco smell out the room. How disappointing. The room was a good size and had a fridge and air conditioner that was a bit on the cold side at night. You could not adjust it. The room had a balcony but you could not use it. The door did not shut properly and had a chair propped against it otherwise it would be open all night! And I was a solo female traveller! I did complain but of course the reception staff did not want to know and said they could not move me because hotel was full. It’s my supposition that they shove all the Trip customers in room 101 because it must be the worse room in the hotel. The balcony has 3 x air conditioners on it so it’s hot and there’s a big tree in front of it so you can’t see anything anyway. The furniture was filthy and I couldn’t use the chair in the room as it was keeping the balcony door shut. Not the best place to stay for a solo female traveller but my requests to move were met with contempt. The breakfast was good with a big range of things to eat. I wouldn’t recommend staying in this hotel if you do make sure you are not in room 101 as it’s the worst room in the hotel. I have uploaded pictures of the room and the issues I’ve pointed out including the dirt carpet! I also added some nice pictures of Antalya because it’s a lovely place to visit. The price list for taxi trips to lots of places around Antalya could be helpful to someone, the taxi rank is across the road from the hotel. There is also a picture of the beach were you can get a ride and the breakfast Hope is a help

Another Great Stay at Start Hotel! Everything ıs consistently good here. Shout out to the staff who are always so welcomıng and helpful. Breakfast plentıful and varıed. Rooms clean and comfy. I had a balcony room thıs tıme and ıt was lovely to sıt on the balcony early mornıng wıth coffee to watch the sun come up. Kettles are provıded ın the rooms. From a prevıous comment by someone about the lıft jumpıng, the lıft has now been fıxed!

I had a wonderful stay at Start Otel in Antalya and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the city. The service truly felt like a 5-star experience—staff were friendly, attentive, and always ready to help with anything I needed. A special thank you to Naz at the reception, who was absolutely wonderful and even upgraded my room, making my stay extra comfortable. I also truly appreciated Mustafa, who was always there to help with my luggage with a warm and helpful attitude. One of the highlights of my stay was the breakfast. The Turkish breakfast was delicious and offered a great variety, paired perfectly with their tea. I really enjoyed starting my mornings there. The only small downside for me was the coffee, which could be improved—but it didn’t take away from the overall experience. The hotel’s location is also very strategic, making it easy to explore nearby attractions, restaurants, and the charming old town. Everything felt accessible and convenient. Overall, Start Otel offers great value with excellent service, tasty breakfast, and a prime location. I would definitely stay here again on my next visit to Antalya.

Great location, good breakfast, nice view, and friendly people. The Wifi is bit slow and you have to reset your key every day but otherwise it's pretty perfect.

Hotel has a great location , you can get airport Tram for 12 station And drop off , you can find starts hotel on the corner just pay 50 Turkey lira  , no need to have taxi with 25$ or more , the hotel closed to old city and to Muratpasa street . The room is big and has balcony . But they did not clean my room for all 3 days . The bathroom is big but old and has sliding floor , you must be careful , the restaurant clean and has a various delicious food . The hotel just need some remold and will be very good . If I come to Antalya so I  will stay in this hotel again , I forgot to tell that the hotel staff very polite and helpful .

The rooms were very clean, spacious, and comfortable. The staff were helpful, friendly, and always available when needed. I thought there was an issue with my door, and they immediately sent someone to check and fix it, which I really appreciated. The location is excellent, right in the city centre with local buses and trams easily accessible, as well as shops and ATMs nearby. It is also not far from the beach, making it a very convenient place to stay. Overall, I had a great experience

Amazing experience to live here. Breakfast was amazing here and its close to Hadrian’s gate and kaléići beach.
