Anshan Victory Hotel (Anshan Railway Station Er'yi'jiu Park Branch)

I previously reviewed this hotel and mentioned some issues with dining and accommodation being on the same floor. The hotel's response felt very earnest, so when I returned to Anshan, I chose Shengli again. It's an established hotel, and overall, it's still quite good. Pros: Excellent location, grand lobby, and the front desk service is great (when I checked in, the three female staff members were wonderful and well-presented. When checking out, I felt one front desk staff member had a bit too much personal jewelry, and her appearance wasn't as tidy, which is not a big deal but something to note). The robot food delivery is very convenient, and the hotel provides various small daily necessities, including disposable towels, which is a big plus! Cons: The in-room internet was broken, and the showerhead was faulty (the handheld shower sprayed wildly, and the overhead shower leaked from the ceiling when turned on). The bedding felt a bit 'scratchy' (my skin is sensitive). Breakfast is now shared with Atour, so it might get crowded during peak hours. The curtains couldn't close completely (they were too short). The issues I mentioned last time are gone, and I hope the hotel continues to improve.

The room was spacious and the facilities were very new, including wireless charging and electric curtains. The environment was beautiful, comfortable, and pleasant. The service attitude was excellent. The location was superb, right opposite People's Square, which is perfect for a stroll after dinner.

The breakfast was excellent, and the hotel service was top-notch. The lobby is spacious and bright, and it has even hosted state guests and national leaders. It's a state-owned enterprise, after all! My only complaint is that there's road construction right outside, and the drilling starts around 6 AM, which really affects my sleep.

Exceeded my expectations, it's really good! This hotel, built in 1958 in a Russian architectural style and renovated in 2020, is located right in the heart of Anshan, making it super convenient to get around. Highly recommend!

Built in the late 1950s, the Shengli Hotel is one of the earliest hotels in Anshan. Although it has undergone several renovations and repairs, it still retains a sense of historical weight. Now in my eighties, I witnessed its construction as a child. Returning to my hometown and visiting Shengli again, I feel a deep sense of familiarity.

I was very impressed by the front desk service when I checked into this hotel. When I arrived, the front desk staff took the initiative to help me carry my luggage and guided me to the check-in area. When I checked in, it was not only fast and accurate, but they also asked me in detail about my room needs, such as orientation, floor preference, etc. During my stay, I was in a hurry to go out and forgot to bring my room card. The front desk quickly helped me solve it and reminded me to pay attention to safety. It was really considerate. The room was clean and bright, with complete items, the bedding was skin-friendly and comfortable, and the room was excellently soundproofed. Must praise!

The room is large and quiet. The hotel is in a very convenient location with many banks and insurance companies and easy parking. Opposite is Anshan Park. Manager Chen at the front desk was very nice and thoughtful and upgraded our room. According to the hotel profile, the national great Deng Xiaoping once stayed there. In the evening, we tasted sweet and sour pork, potato and abalone soup, and celery leaves mixed with clams on the 4th floor and praised the hotel chef's skills. The most unexpected thing is that the beer in Anshan is very refreshing and delicious, the breakfast is rich in variety, the restaurant is clean and hygienic, and the staff cleans up in time and has a good attitude. I drank rice porridge with brown sugar, red dates and red beans 👍👍👍. Next time I come to Anshan, I will definitely stay at Shengli Hotel.
