top location to reach the city centre walking within a few minutes. The room was ordened and sufficient by size. Unfortunately once the room service was forgotten. The air condition could be a little more intensive. The breakfast was varied and very attractively prepared. The breakfast times were generously extended. The food in the restaurant was very delicious, rich and greatly compiled. The staff was always friendly and premature. The hotel was very practical and the garage was in the house with access to the hotel. The best to recommend.

This restaurant is relatively quiet - far from street and rail. The room (also the bathroom) was pleasantly spacious, equipped with everything necessary and very clean. The food (breakfast and dinner) in the restaurant was very good. A free parking was available. And all at a totally reasonable price - what do you want more?

Foreign hotels are like that, the same price can not be compared with the domestic, one is the room is small, the room service is Samsung, chain fast grade, in addition to more greetings, there is breakfast, when you go abroad, you can eat your stomach with your eyes closed. The hotel is very close to attractions, and the environment and rooms are very nostalgic and classic. The room was very spacious and very comfortable. The hotel was very considerate and gave us small gifts (gummy candies) on the bed. It's a pity that there is no air conditioning, but when we stayed it was in the teens (12-20 degrees), which was okay; and our room was next to the road, so it was a bit noisy, but it was acceptable. If you open the window, you will hear the bell ringing from time to time! So we closed the windows and slept. There is an Italian restaurant opposite the hotel, which is delicious and affordable. Overall, I would recommend this hotel!

30 minutes drive from Nuremberg, and you are in tiny medieval town of Wolframs-Eschenbach. It looks like it was built for knights movie or medieval festival. It is as small as some 300meters in diameter, inclosed in city wall with guarding towers. In a very center you find Alte Vogtei hotel, in classical Franconian timber-framed house. But don't be mistaken, the hotel's inside is very modern and very well designed, even elevator is there. Rooms are comfortable and very clean, with spacious bathroom with shower. Bed is large, mattress is on the hard side, different pillows to chose from, also the quietness of town ensures great sleep. Hotel's staff is very helpful and attentive. Breakfast is really good, quality choice of different coffee from machine, juices, freshly baked breads, bacon, sausages, boiled and scrambled eggs, different cheese and hams, and many more. Nice wellness in basement, with two saunas, one of them is relly good, infrared room and water massage bed, all icluded in stay price. But true gem of Alte Vogtei is it's restaurant, which honestly deserves Michelin star or two. Local, European and even Oriental cuisine is exceptional. Good choice of Bavarian beers. Note, the kitchen takes orders until 8:30pm, so be in time. Free parking on site or nearby. Overall pleasant and reaxing stay.

What a gem! Located just a few meters outside the ancient city wall, the Alter Ego is a perfect place to stay. Stylish rooms, lavish (double!) rain shower, two (and seemingly soon 3) free Tesla destination chargers (11 kW, 3-phase), large shared kitchen/sitting area with free cooled flat plus sparkling water and coffee and some paid snacks, full-size ultra comfy box-springs… free abundant parking. I doubt you will find a better stay in Rothenburg. Next time here, I would definitely book here again. What was missing? Maybe some ice cubes… the curtains don’t block all the outside light in summer. And there was some renovation ongoing while we stayed there. But the air-Conditioning was perfect, I love cold sleepingrooms.
