Anqing Country Garden Fengyue Phoenix Hotel (Wanda Plaza Branch)

We were on a road trip and the hotel had plenty of parking spaces without any barriers. The room decor was excellent, definitely up to star-rated hotel standards. The best part was that the price didn't increase much during the holiday season, which was a real bonus.

The lady at the front desk was incredibly helpful; she upgraded my room, which was a wonderful surprise! I was in Anqing for a music festival, and the hotel's location was perfect – right across the lake from the festival grounds. I could even see the big screen from my room's balcony and hear the music in the afternoon. In the evening, Salmon (the group I was with) booked the hotel's banquet hall for a team-building event and we partied until the early hours! A big thank you to the hotel staff for their warm service; my trip was truly perfect and enjoyable!

Came here for a music festival, and the hotel's location was super convenient. The shuttle bus dropped us off right at the hotel. Plus, the views from the hotel are genuinely lovely. I'd definitely choose this hotel again if I come back to the area.

The room was spacious and very clean. Overall, I was quite satisfied. There's a small balcony with a view of the lake. We didn't want to go out for dinner, so we ordered a couple of stir-fried dishes from the hotel restaurant, and they were delicious and very generous in portion. Breakfast was also plentiful, and the staff were all very friendly. I recommend this hotel if you're driving through Anqing and need a place to stay. I forgot to take pictures of the room, but it looks pretty much exactly like the photos on the hotel's official website.

Exceeded expectations! We got a free room upgrade, and the hotel itself is worth staying at for a night. The balcony offers a relaxing and pleasant lake view. This hotel has an elegant European-style decor, clearly a significant investment. The solid wood furniture feels high-quality, and the attention to detail is evident. There are candies at the elevator entrance, and the lobby offers several self-serve drink options. The slippers have thick soles. Honestly, it's not much different from hotels costing over a thousand in Sanya, except for a slightly smaller kids' play area. I'm already planning a second trip to Anqing just for this place!

We chose this pet-friendly hotel because we were traveling with our dog. However, the front desk staff's attitude was rather indifferent upon arrival. They even had to call their supervisor to confirm we could check in, despite us paying the cleaning fee as per policy. To make matters worse, someone (I'm not sure who they were at the hotel) kept mentioning that the hotel had group guests, which was quite off-putting. If a hotel can't accommodate pets, they shouldn't advertise as pet-friendly! On the positive side, housekeeping deserves a shout-out. They thoughtfully brought a large cage, and their service was very warm, though we didn't really need it. We laid down paper mats for our dog's food and water, and used our own sheets on the bed. Our dog is very well-behaved, and we left the room spotless. The hotel breakfast, at 38 yuan per person, was very disappointing. Since the hotel is a bit out of the way and it was raining, we decided to eat there, but there were hardly any options, making it very poor value for money. Aside from these points, everything else was very satisfactory. The room was spacious, and it's right next to Qintan Lake. I imagine the experience would be even better on a sunny day.

Great value for money, and the breakfast was excellent. The room was neat and clean, and the surrounding environment was serene. Waking up to the sound of birds and the scent of flowers, with distant mountains and a gentle breeze, was truly wonderful.
