We arrived just before 4.30pm and our room wasn’t ready. The owner made me a hot chocolate while we waited. The room itself was nicely appointed with a fireplace but was not totally clean crumbs around the cooker and kitchen and a few hairs on the bed. The description had said 2 local bottles of wine were included but that was not the case and when we asked the owner referred us back to *******. The room was priced around 278 euros which was overpriced for the room Breakfast was basic with a few croissants and some juice and bread and jams .. overall very disappointing

The unit was very nice, the check-in was very effective, and the location is great. I didn’t like the fact that there was nobody 24hours available to address any problems that may arise, the breakfast was quite poor (almost no protein and the protein it had was plain yoghurt), the coffee machine didn’t work. These complaints must be seen in the context of the price, for the price paid I expect much more.

******* showed this as a 5 star hotel and it is definitely not. I think the pictures of the apartment must have been taken ages ago. It was dark for one thing and our apartment was on the first floor. We walked 10 minutes from train station and you go straight to old town. We have visited Annecy before many years ago. There is no one at a front desk and you need to call someone 30 min. upon arrival so someone can meet you to give the keycards. You need to use a code to get in the front door and elevator. The front door needs to be push hard to open. I guess I didn’t see the spiral staircase to go up to the bedroom in the photos when making reservations. Luckily it was an en-suite. There was also a toilet next to kitchen. We enjoyed fresh fruit from the farmers market the next day, I bought enough to last us 5 days. The kitchen sink was so small (I mean it was 7” wide x14” long). It was difficult to wash your plates. Our next hotel in Switzerland was a 5 star hotel and the huge difference was very noticeable. I would not recommend this place.

We just checked out and we were VERY disappointed . This is NOT a 5 star accommodation which is how they advertise on their website and certainly not worth over $500 a night , which is what we paid. 1.Apartment, not hotel: this was not indicated in description. Absolutely no service that is even close to a hotel, much less a 5 star. 2.No instructions on how to check in.  3.Difficult to find & only way we knew is because we asked at a local restaurant: took us 1 hour to find location & to figure out how to enter.  4.Couple at restaurant downstairs, gave us the key & said don’t expect Hotel service , they were unable to help us with any issues. 5.Breakfast ridiculous for 5 star & price paid: 2 croissants, small baguette, 1 stick powdered cocoa, 2 small honey jars, 1 small oj: not even butter. 6.dirt in bathroom, shower 7.5 star implies service: ; no service here. 8.Stained sheets, stained ironing table, useless coffee maker/not working for 4 days, even after I complained.  9 Texted & emailed  with issues. response next day 10 If there is an emergency after hours, or you loose your key, what is the option that guests have ? No instructions , no directions, no one who can help.  Priced as 5 star, with no service. False advertising, complete lie, scam. This is a 2 star Air B & B , certainly not 5 star as they advertise. I plan to report them /owners to the French tourism administration because it really is not fair. (See pic)

The property is very nice but this definitely does not have the amenities and services of a five-star hotel. First of all it is a private residence. There is no concierge, no front desk, no spa, no gym, I know other rooms beside the rooms you stay in. The rooms are very nice but are missing some basic things especially since they rank themselves that's why I start. There was no lotion, no conditioner, and that toiletries were not luxury. Just average. They included breakfast it's just a basket of bread and jam they didn't leave at the door with some yogurt and butter. The residence does not have its own parking. You have to use private parking but at least it's close to the residence. The manager of the restaurants downstairs is the part-time property manager and he is friendly and nice but he's not there when the restaurant is closed. If you need something then call the number on the reservation you will get someone who will have to ask somebody else and get back to you for anything you need. This is more like a VRBO. The steam feature and the shower is nice but does not qualify this as a spa property. Location is great and overall we have a good stay but the descriptions of the property need to be updated so that expectations are realistic.
