I originally booked a standard room with two beds and a sofa bed, but the staff upgraded our room during check-in. They said it had a better view and was located in a corner, so our kids wouldn't disturb other guests. However, the upgraded room only had one king-sized bed.

This is an older hotel, so there are no power outlets by the bed. I recommend bringing an extension cord if you're staying here. Also, the beds are quite high, likely designed for American body types. Next, if you request room cleaning, be aware that they might knock around 9 AM and enter if there's no response. Disneyland Hotel is always a magical place to stay like all the other Disney Parks hotels my family has stayed at. Front Lobby staff always make things so easy and they’re always so welcoming and accommodating. One thing I wanted to point out was one staffer who clearly just works there expecting tips. Edward Chavez helped my family with their bags and not only was rude “I thought you guys were ready, but you’re there just taking pictures” and then expected a tip to the point that he provided his Venmo account to make sure he was compensated. What a blemish in what otherwise is typically a great experience at a Disney Parks hotel.
