This hotel is awesome. The loft house I chose to live in is full of high-tech sinks. There is a TV in the mirror. I can use the whole hotel. It is like a museum full of literary atmosphere. When a gentleman leads me to visit the hotel. And the history of the hotel was first explained by a bank and later became a conservatory. The hotel was renamed as the current hotel. The location is especially great. The National Museum Van Gogh Museum walks for 5 minutes. It has a great seafood walk 2 minutes back to the room and finds the bed to help sleep. The fragrance spray and the weather conditions of the next day will be especially intimate and will choose this hotel.

Set right next to the best part of the city, Leidseplein which is very well connected to all the notable landmarks including walkable distance to both the Rijksmuseum and Van Gogh museum as well as the famous Voldelpark. The hotel has very modern interiors and all the facilities to make ones stay comfortable. The room and bathroom were very clean and spacious unlike the other European hotels. The hotel staff were courteous and helpful. There are 100's of restaurants serving all types of food and all are within walking distance from the hotel. Getting to Dam Square which is the shopping hub and Amsterdam Central station is just a single tram ride. Overall, the hotel is very clean and comfortable and nothing can beat the convenient location of this hotel.

After our Viking Rhine Cruise ended in Amsterdam, we planned to stay the night to check out the city. This hotel had the right combination of price, location, and amenities. We chose one of the 2nd floor suits which included a balcony for smoking. The room was located above the side street which was lined with sycamore trees so the balcony was screened by the branches—it was lovely. Noise level was not bad since this was not the tourist sector but it was still the city so it wasn’t quiet or dark. The room was spacious especially the bathroom. From the hotel we walked to the old city and passed several canals along the way. We didn’t wind up eating at the hotel but we did order from the bar and the bartender was friendly. The staff was friendly and called a cab for us in the morning to get to the airport. Would stay here again.

I was recognized as a Hilton Diamond as soon as I stepped in the door and treated as such throughout our stay, including a complimentary room upgrade. The hotel staff is fantastic: helpful, friendly, and courteous. The room we stayed in (King Deluxe with city view) was clean and comfortable with plenty of space to move around. The breakfast is fantastic! The hotel has an Executive Lounge that is adequate, if not luxuriant. Like most Hilton Lounges these days, it features the basics and a few American hot snacks in the evening (ah, for the old days in European Hiltons). It’s nice to have, though, when so many are disappearing entirely. Parking is easy, if a bit pricey for an out of center city location. Like many Hilton’s, this hotel is a decent but doable walk from most points of interest. But it’s location on an outer canal is beautiful, and it is quiet and restful. We will certainly return, and I highly recommend this Hilton.

Hotel 717 lives up to its buzz and in fact, exceeded our expectations. From start to finish our stay was delightful. We were greeted warmly at the front doorstep and treated to a welcome cocktail after checking in. The property is beautiful! Expertly curated with whimsical, decorative details throughout. Our room was spacious, and the bed + bedding were sublime. Staff was exceptionally kind, with extra special praise earned by Camilla and Wolf who went above and beyond for us! It was quite difficult to leave Hotel 717, although the send-off tin of cookies eased our sadness and heightened our hopes to return asap. Thank you, Hotel 717! We are grateful for you all!

We decided to splurge on this 5 star hotel for a long anticipated family reunion. Unfortunately the experience was marred by a series of disappointments caused by utterly incompetent hotel staff. When I called ahead on the day of our arrival to request an early check-in the hotel rep. sternly informed me that I would have to pay a 120 Euro charge for the privilege! We are experienced travelers and never have we encountered such a demand. We took our chances regardless and decided to show up 2 hours early. Sure enough, our room was already ready and we were allowed to occupy it at no extra charge. Things really started to go south when a limousine that I had arranged for separate airport pickup of my daughter’s family through the concierge showed up at the airport unequipped with a baby car seat. I had expressly requested this when I booked the service. This was also specified in the booking confirmation sent by email to me by the concierge. The reaction I later got when I complained to the concierge was that I was not charged extra for the baby seat - as if this was the main issue! Furthermore, this was the first time that I was informed of such a charge, as no mention of this had been made in the email confirmation of the limo reservation which I originally received from the concierge. More importantly, what is more concerning is the utter indifference he showed for the safety of a guest’s infant grandchild. All that concerned him was the money angle to the failure. Things soon got worse. When we checked into our room we lifted the bed cover to discover several hairs and multiple red and yellow stains. Unbelievably, the chambermaid had neglected to change the bedsheets. This, in a 5 star hotel! After we called reception, staff was quickly sent to our room to change them. We never heard further from management about this. We later had dinner at Serre restaurant onsite and left the place hungry. The chef seems to focus on presentation and less on the reasonableness of the portions. My wife had a fish main course which was equivalent to 3 forkfuls. The minuscule dessert was pretty to look at but was grossly inadequate even for one person. The restaurant style is a throwback to the old Nouvelle Cuisine school. For the icing on the cake: a voucher for a round of drinks on the house at the rooftop bar that the guest services manager had kindly given me was bungled by the bar staff. When I arrived home I discovered a mysterious charge of 66 Euros by the Twenty-Third Floor Bar. The bar staff set new standards of incompetence in taking my voucher and charging me anyway.I had to call the hotel for credit but I am losing money anyway from the spread in exchange rates used by credit card companies. To be fair, the Superior View room was extremely spacious and comfortable with a magnificent view. The large pool and ample spa facilities were enjoyable and a significant convenience . Excellent location, could walk to every “tourist” place. . Plenty of restaurants and bars right outside the doors! The breakfast at the hotel was great with lots of options and the staff very accommodating! Pastry chef is outstanding..deserves a raise!! Croissants the lightest fluffiest ever! Everything tastes as good as it looks! Front desk staff very nice, Sarah went out of her way to “fix” a minor problem and continued ask if everything was ok each time she saw us. Rooms clean and roomy, beds comfortable would stay again if ever in Amsterdam and recommend this hotel to anyone who asks! Transportation from airport is a little pricey (taxi for 4 ..70-100 euros depending on traffic ) but once you are there no need to use again.

Right next to the subway station, there are trams 4 and 14. We came out of the airport to take the train to the Central Station, and then changed to No. 4 to the hotel. The streets and roads in Amsterdam are not all asphalt roads, many of which are small bricks and have a lot of luggage. You have to choose the side of the subway station, otherwise you will walk too hard. Old hotel, very clean, very warm reception. No breakfast choice. If you are booking a car, please pay attention to the fact that taxis, etc. cannot reach the entrance of the hotel, or you must cross the square, or be on the side of the road behind you.

Hotel location was good as it is in the central area to almost all activities that we went. But however, hotel room service did not help us to empty our toilet trash bin every single day despite that we gave tips everyday, so I'm not sure how clean exactly is their room service. Bring extra cash for hotel tax and deposits as we were only told on the 1st night of checking in when the recept call up to our room to ask us to go to the reception to pay for our hotel tax and deposit, where only the deposits will be refunded upon checking out if you did not consume their in-room beverages or destroy their hotel etc. Hotel location is very near to 2 super mart, and also the ******** coffee shop, cafe and restaurants, not very convenient for kids as every where smells of ********. Breakfast was super good spread, large varieties, we love it.

I have stayed at the third hotel in Amsterdam and I personally prefer the NH Museum. The decoration style of this INK hotel is more avant-garde, that is, the rooms are small, the location is superior, and it is very close to the central station. You can also easily walk to Dam Square to fight, or visit the red light district. If you are staying in Amsterdam for a short time, you can choose this one.

This hotel had so much going for it. In a great area for visiting the museums, on a quiet residential street, friendly and helpful staff on reception. However, it was badly let down by the cleaniness - litter on floor in reception was an indicator of worse to come. The first room had dirty bedlinen. We were moved to a second, which did have clean sheets, but the toilet was filthy. We were only there for one night - I wouldn't have stayed two. We had a late flight so asked reception if we could leave our bags while visiting the museums. We were given a keycard to a shared room with lots of bags - not secure at all, anyone could have helped themselves to anything. Reception assured us it was 'secure' as they only gave the key to their many guests. They could easily have issued baggage tickets, and accompanied customers to deposit and collect bags, but they didn't, anyone could have walked out with anyone else's belongings. Come on XO - sort the cleaning and security and this could be such a great hotel. However, we won't be back. There were flyers in reception for lots of family attractions - and porn. Not ideal in a leaflet stand at child height.

We had a family room at the hotel for two nights in the UK Easter school holidays and found it to be reasonable. We loved the hotel's location, sandwiches between the Van Gogh Museum area and designer shops. It was close to bars and restaurants too. We had a pleasant welcome and were quickly into our room, which was spacious and appeared to be recently refurbished. The beds were comfortable. Our rat included breakfast, which was a great start to each day. We also have to give a shout out to the lady who single handedly manages the service with a smile on her face - amazing!

It's a great hotel. The receptionists are very friendly and willing to help with everything. The location is fantastic, it will literally take you less than 2 minutes to get to the Van Gogh Museum and Rijksmuseum by foot. The breakfast is delicious. The only negative point is that you must have your credit card with you. I paid the hotel some days before getting there with another credit card than the one I took with me in the travel and they did not accept it. But fortunately I could pay with the one I took with me. But I would go back again. Thank you De Bedstee Staff!

In the whole hotel we enjoyed it very much. We were only one night.It appears very good.Outside it seems ordinary but inside it really is a girl.Everything reminiscent very much modern art. We had a room in the ground floor, but it had a high window that was very well illuminated inside. You have a cooker and a coffee machine in the room and this is always a good thing for us because it is a service we appreciate especially after long walks. The only fault I can't tell if it was because we were at -1 is that at some point of the night the bathroom smells also importantly discharged. The morning is gradually disappearing because we haven't heard anything at the day when we arrived. The location is not just in the center even if you get 30 minutes walking or you have the tram that is quick. It was a good point for us, however.

We had a magnificent stay at De ware Jacob Hotel with a family of five at the end of 2020. With the Covid restrictions it was not easy to travel around, but nonetheless we decided to spend a weekend in Amsterdam benefitting from the beauty of the city with fewer tourists at this moment in time. This Hotel was recommended to us as a cosy newly renovated boutique hotel at the heart of the Museum District, and the price was really good, so we were not disappointed. Our stay was even more memorable than expected. We were received by the very friendly owner and treated with a glass of Cava. The suites and the family rooms were very nice and spacious, we also benefitted from an upgrade, which was a nice gesture. A nice sushi dinner was delivered from a nearby restaurant and we enjoyed it in the lounge with a nice restaurant ambiance. We were pleasantly shocked to be given the variety of Georgian natural wines tasting by the host, something we never tried before, accompanied by the delicious strawberry covered in chocolate. Fantastic!! Breakfast was nicely presented, had nice selection and we were also offered a glass of Prosecco to start the day, but instead decided to swap it for extra cappuccinos and a homemade cake on the house. The city itself was delightful, being not so crowded as usual. We really enjoyed walking in the nearby park. Also went to The Red Light district which was absolutely empty, something unforgettable and special!!! It was indeed a very pleasant break in beautiful Amsterdam.

Stayed her because of good TripAdvisor ratings, Rick Steves' recommendation, and location so close to the big museums. One block from VanGogh. A few steps up from the street to main floor, no real reception area. Ring the bell and the staff comes to greet you and check you in. We had a room right off that front hall. Breakfast in the basement (-1 level), typical continental with buffet including eggs, bacon, sliced meats and cheese, yogurts and granola, breads, and good coffee. Has a tiny elevator, but winding steps up and down also. Room was lovely, with view onto pedestrian area. Three children's schools on this corner so noise of children at play during the day, but no big deal since you are gone most of the time anyway. Room 12 has a bay window which made people watching easy and fun. Staff was exceptionally helpful. Alexandra and Peter took very good care of us, offering constantly to provide dinner reservations, which were good recommendations. Hotel has a simple button in front hall, push it and a taxi arrives in a couple of minutes. The hotel also has bicycles to rent so you can explore on your own. We were very pleased with this hotel.
