Hotel Golden Lagoon

The Hotel is very near to the golden temple and the main street. walkable to many eateries.

They don’t clean room and refill the soap. Have to keep asking. Room was noisy and seems to keep having power trips. Have to keep asking for towels etc. Location wise fantastic walking distance to everywhere.

Great location

We stayed here twich on our Amritsar visit. Location- Perfect location very near to golden temple. One deawback that app based cab like Uber not comes infront of the hotel. But we booked a erikshaw of 150 INR from Amritsar railway station to entrance gate of Jallwallabag, and from there its a walking distance. Google maps has Perfect location matched. We booked Jaliwallabag view room. Room - Little bit small but well maintained. 24x7 hot and cold water in the washroom. Nice view from the window. Complementary tea/coffe with cattle. Good working ac. Nice bed. Cleaned washroom. Hotel lobby - Cozy but good. Lift is available with good staff. Room service- Fast. Improvement point - They served 500 ml water per person which is not sufficient for a day. They can allocate 1 liter water per person. Restaurant- Foot is very tasty. Especially I should remember Kulcha. The person Mr.Dharam Pal served nice breakfast with good suggestion. Food price is little bit high but very testy. We tried Kulcha, Lassi, Lacha paratha, Mushroom curry. Will definitely stay here again. Golden temple is a walkable dustance from here. It takes hardly 5 mins to reach Golden Temple from the hotel.

Not clean. Dirty sheets, towels, dark rooms. Windows don’t close. Not kept clean to a standard you’d expect at this type price point and rating, similar to others at this price point.

Impossible to find. Nowhere to park car. Rooms are very small, walk-in clients were given a much lower rate vs booking through *******.

This was by-far best hotel i stayed at in Amritsar. And hotel staff were also very friendly and helpful. Overall good experience.

I booked a room for 3, it was huge ! Great location, 3 minutes to Harminder Sahib / Golden Temple, lots of stalls on your doorstep. Fab location, food in the restaurant was delicious. It can be noisy outside, we were on the 3rd floor and very tired and slept well
