A great small hotel a short walk from the Golden Temple in the centre of Amritsar. The manager is super helpful, providing a local mud map with suggestions of places to eat and visit. The breakfasts arranged by the manager were local cuisine and fantastic. We would definitely stay here again, it was one of the best places we stayed in India.

Avijit the owner made us feel at home. Nothing was too much trouble. He went out of his way to help us with our particular needs and requests. He drew us a detailed map of the area, provided extra bedding, advised on best restaurants, provided home cooked meals on request, gave security advice on the area, was very friendly, always concerned to make sure we were happy. The rooms are basic and we had clean bedding. All in all good value and I would recommend to others.

The hotel was well located for exploring the tourist areas of Amritsar. It was a little way from the main centre which made it nice and quiet. The staff were very friendly and helpful with information about where to visit and restaurants etc. We had a large room but there was no window to the outside. The window we had opened onto the reception desk. Also, when the reception desk rang, we could hear it in our room. The mattress was also a bit firmer than we'd have liked.

This stay is located in the heart of Amritsar's major attraction, golden temple. Both golden temple & jaliabwala-bag is in walking distance, but beside night don't try walking as per pickpocketers and snatcher - snatch your mobile phone or ladice purse, better to take e-rickswa. This homely stay can't be called a hotel, they only have few rooms, only few garden view. But if you are crashing for a night or 2, you can enjoy your brkfsst in their garden which is amritsari kulcha's predominantly. Special thanks to Manager Avijit who rescued us from major road blockage at night, we got stuck outside of the temple area as occasionally the roads got closed, you can rely on ricksaws if they are willing to take you to ramanandbag. The owner is also very gentleman, he arrange our pick and drop from high road to the hotel without any cost. There is nothing much to do beside site seeing but if you are a Punjabi food lover, you should definitely visit brothers dhaba, Avijit will help you with location and travel arrangements.

The best hotel i ever had in india. The staff is so excited to help you in all aspects.The location is just close to golden temple and all main sight seeings like jalianwala bagh, partition museum and brothers dhaba etc Highly recommendable property to everone
