Good hotel, breakfast is well arranged and dinner is also good. The room is clean, but the bathroom is dated, you can use a refreshment round, the shower is not good. When check-in and check-out is not all staff is just as friendly or professional, something went wrong with my breakfast booking via trip.com, eventually contacted customer service and then it was solved. But the hotel did a very strange thing about this... this isn't our problem...

We stayed in a comfort room that had decent beds, a Nespresso coffee machine and Rituals in the shower. The rain shower is amazing, so is the toilet but not in a positive way. The toilet is completely open, no privacy at all. Which might be fine for some people, but that was the only downside. And the lady at the desk assured us that not all rooms have the same setup. Other than that very friendly helpful staff, a decent breakfast, lots parking and I will definitely go back,

We haven't been back to this hotel for over 2 years and it was better than ever this time. We got upgraded to a suite as a Diamond member which is always nice. The newly renovated rooms are well done and super clean. It was nice to see that the hotel menu for dinner has gone back to a more classic Hilton style menu which we like. Based on this we decided to eat at the hotel and were very impressed. The quality of the food and taste were great. The waiter had a nice balance and flow. We had the Caesar Salad with chicken, Fish and Chips, steamed asparagus and the cheese platter for dessert. Breakfast was very good as usual and many of the staff from a few years ago are still there so felt like home. All in all a very well run hotel from top to bottom. It's a great base to explore the area in terms of hiking and biking.

Pros: The restaurant and its staff are incredibly nice, open until 9pm (past that, they only serve main dishes) and the meals we had were top notch; we even got a comp'ed appetizer. The pool and spa are open until 11pm and we took advantage of that. There is a table tennis table and a pool table. We had a few extra coffee pods and tea bags added to our closet that they had placed there as extras (no cost to us). You are also close to the Austerlitz Pyramid (just down the road), which is nice to visit (note that this is not the Austerlitz where the 1805 battle took place, just a monument built in 1804 by Auguste de Marmont's soldiers, renamed ”the Pyramid of Austerlitz” in 1806 after Napoleon Bonaparte's 1805 Austerlitz victory). Cons: The facility seems to be ”old world chique” and does appeal to a certain clientele. Due to the way this hotel/restaurant was built and added to over the years, it is quite the labyrinth. If you want to get to the pool, you will have to arm yourself with patience. Moreover, the signs are in Dutch only and the signage is not well done (see the pool reference). Breakfast cost at the time, 18.50 Euro and we skipped it, since there are a few supermarkets and bakeries in the area (car or bike required). Now, our main con was that we reserved a room for 4 adults and we confirmed with a King and 2 twin beds... the fourth bed was a foldable cot or ”camping” bed. The mattress was no more than 2 inches thick and 1 inch once you laid on to it. Needless to say that that person had a rough night. There is no food ordering from outside the hotel, like Uber. The Wi-Fi was really bad from our room. They limit you to 4 coffee pods (a day (based on our total occupancy) and you need to pay if you want more.

Lovely, tranquil hotel in bucolic area. The rooms are in split bungalows off towards the outside of the property. Modern rooms are on the tight side- had a suite with fireplace, and a bathtub in the room. The beds were comfortable but pillows over stuffed and hard so had to use my travel pillow. The bathrooms were single sink with a large shower and modern toilet with built in fan. Everything in the suite is at an odd angle but a good set up. The fireplace is a vapor and light model. Cute. The two tvs (one on each side of foreplace) were odd as the one not watching would turn on at random times. Due to rain, we were unable to use the outside seating area but it was nice, surrounded by low lying hedges. Walk ways boarder the rooms so not absolutely private but the hotel is quiet. There is ample parking and possible to park smaller camper if needed. The estate is lovely. There is a trail around the main house for viewing there lovely plantings and specimen trees. There area is full of biking paths and the nearby town of Putten is adorable and has an excellent bakery (be sure to look for the good one which is on a corner at end of shopping street- the other bakery is commercial stuff). We have stayed there twice and both times the service and food was the best you could ask for. All staff are very friendly and helpful. The rooms are always kept clean and we always feel saft staying there and the price is great. If you need a place to stay in Zeist NL. you need to look no farther than the Hotel Theater Figi ” it's the best” Van and Linda Scott

The hotel is located in the park, the environment is very beautiful, the room is spacious, there are wild geese, swans, ducks and other wild animals on the lake. The facilities and service quality are high. It is the only hotel that is surprisingly pleasant for this business trip. It is indeed 4 stars standard. It is also very convenient.

Beautiful hotel, conveniently located in walking distance of Hoog Catharijnen. Very attentive and welcoming staff, gorgeous bedrooms with comfortable beds. The rooms have complimentary bathrobes and slippers. Breakfast is first class and the dining area is stunning as is the rest of the building. There’s a small pool with a whirlpool and sauna. Everything is clean. There are plenty of towels and shampoo and shower gel available. We stayed for two nights/three days with 5 adults ranging from 20-56 year old.
