Hostal Duran
4.3/523 Reviews
Hostal Duran is in a great location-if you are arriving by train, the local minibus (€1.55) takes you to the main square which is just steps away from the Hostal. Alternatively, the caminito to the station is very close by and a nice walk down the hill. Dia supermarket (and Mercadona) are in easy walking distance as are many bars and restaurants. Strolling round the castle is a real highlight. Paco and Monica were very welcoming to the quaint hostal set in a 200 year old building. The whole place is immaculately clean with comfortable beds, great WiFi, a/c and even a fridge. Check in and check out times were also great. We asked for a top floor room and the view was AMAZING. The only disappointment was that pigeons were roosting on the roof and despite the terrace being cleaned every day, we felt we couldn’t use it as the bird poo (including broken eggs) was awful.

The room was very nice. A charming touch of the stairs in the caracol “what my son most liked” Well we loved everything. The attention of the receptionist Alvaro. The servants are a great attention. The breakfast is great. The views and the beautiful pool. We have been very happy to make the king's walk for the next morning that is just in front of the bus that leads you to the entrance.
