On the day of check-in, we noticed that the ceiling in the hallway outside our room was damaged, the corridor light was out, and there was a large hole in the ceiling—though these weren't major issues. What made the experience truly awful, however, was on checkout day when we intended to sleep in and wake up naturally. But around six or seven in the morning, my entire family woke up drenched in sweat due to unbearable heat—the air conditioning was broken. We tried fixing it ourselves, but clearly couldn't. After sweating profusely, we attempted twice to contact the front desk, but no one came to handle the issue. Finally, seeing cleaning staff in a neighboring room, I used Google Translate to communicate with them, as it seemed they only spoke Russian. Still, nothing was resolved. They told me via translation to turn off the circuit breaker for our room for 15 to 20 minutes, during which time no cooling measures were provided. The room became hotter than a sauna, and all of us kept sweating nonstop. This was an absolutely terrible stay! While the room size and view were indeed nice, the staff's emergency response and basic utilities like electricity and air conditioning were extremely poor. We stayed three nights, paying $200 per night—definitely not the level of service expected at this price point in Kazakhstan. Despite waiting for a long time, the broken AC was never repaired. At eight o'clock, we had no choice but to get up and go into the hallway and downstairs restaurant just to cool down—we nearly died from the heat. It should also be noted that since the room was on the top floor, even with blackout curtains drawn, the heat was especially intense. During our three-day stay, the air conditioner seemed to work properly only at night. During the day, even with maximum fan speed and lowest temperature setting, the sun still penetrated through the curtains and radiated scorching heat into the room. The bedroom was somewhat cooler at night (though the living room remained relatively hot and hard to cool), but the trade-off was enduring loud, constant noise from the AC unit above the bed—rumbling continuously. The air conditioning really needs to be upgraded! It was so unbearably hot!!
