Casa de Orange

We spent four nights in this paradise. Everything was perfect; the central location close to several good restaurants, the clean and spacious room (Estrella) with a wonderful view, the beautiful gardens and swimming pool, the extensive honesty bar and the delicious breakfasts, especially the eggs, but, the icing on the cake was, without doubt, our wonderful hosts. Ad and Astrid could not have been more helpful, more friendly and more fun; thank you so much; looking forward to our next visit, already.

This was our third visit to Casa do Orange and our first with Ad and Astrid and we were not disappointed. The rooms and gardens are absolutely beautiful and the pool area is fantastic to lounge around and chill out. Breakfast was superb with lots to choose from and Ad always did us lovely eggs! Nothing was to much trouble and Astrid made sure we had everything we needed every day. A huge highlight for us was being invited to lunch to celebrate Ad’s 70th birthday with their family and close friends where Astrid served up lovely tapas and cake, such a special day to be part of. This is a beautiful place to stay and we cannot wait to revisit next year. Natalie and Robert

We stayed at Casa de Orange for 10 days in July. We could not have been made more welcome by Ad and Astrid. Although the town of Alhaurin el Grande is within walking distance the surroundings could not be more tranquil and peaceful. The pool, grounds and views are outstanding. Breakfast each morning on the terrace was a fantastic start to the day. All the guests were friendly and truly appreciated the attentiveness of Astrid and Ad, nothing was too much problem. Great place. Beautiful location, a little paradise. Room was clean and complete. The swimming pool area and everything else outside and inside are the perfect setting for a relaxing vacation. Breakfast was every morning a great start of the day, enough choice.

Astrid and Ad made me feel 'at home' - wonderfull hosts - fullfiled all my expectations. Alhaurin town offers quality restaurants and a lot of surrounding places worth to visit. Places like Malaga, Marbella are not to far away.

We originally booked our stay at Casa d'Orange before the onslaught of Covid for a relaxing 4 night stay after a 2 week tour of Andalusia. The ongoing issues with the pandemic meant that we had to postpone our trip a number of times! Meanwhile Casa d'Orange was sold and new owners Astrid and Ad took over the reigns. Our tour in plus 30 Degree temperatures had been wonderful but exhausting and we really felt in need of some time to relax before journeying home. Ad & Astrid made us feel welcome and immediately at home. Our room (Estrella) was very spacious and clean with 2 terraces and a large comfortable bed. The pool was clean and the gardens extensive with little nooks to sit and relax in. Breakfasts are delicious with plenty of choice and with a daily special cooked to order by Ad. An honesty bar with cold drinks, wine and snacks is available 24/7. A petanque piste, table tennis and other games are available on site. It is but a short walk into Alhaurin El Grande town where there are a good selection of restaurants. Above all though Astrid and Ad are wonderful and charming hosts who will ensure that you stay will be memorable.

We had the best time at Casa de Orange lovely rooms very clean beautiful grounds, great location town only 5 minute walk. Good breakfast and above all fantastic hosts Astrid and Ad were such good fun and couldn’t do enough for us. We loved it here will be back

I traveled with my daughter to visit my dad who was celebrating his 80th birthday. From start to finish Astrid & Ad made us feel welcome, Such friendly hosts we couldn’t have asked for more. My dad on visiting referred to it as ‘The garden of Eden’ The rooms are very spacious and clean with everything provided that you would need inc pool towels, slippers and robes. The honesty bar is very very well stocked and a great addition. The town of alhaurin is only a short walk with lots of Spanish bars and restaurants. Look forward to returning. Thanks

A great location on the edge of an interesting town with nice bars and restaurants. The accommodation was very smart and comfortable with lovely spacious gardens and a good sized pool - all serviced by an honesty bar and great surroundings. The bedrooms are air conditioned, boutique and individual. The owners are charming, fun and very accommodating and breakfasts are fab on the terrace. Reccommend Ed!
