Hotel location is very good, basically walking distance. The parking lot is right at the back door of the hotel. It is very convenient, 16 knives a day, after check-out, you can stop there and no longer charge in the afternoon. Breakfast is not bad. Two 1 meter 5 large beds, no extra bed required.

This is my second stay at the Century House - my daughter moved to the area last year. This time we had a good-sized group of family with us for two nights including a day at Saratoga Springs race track so we reserved three rooms. When we arrived at 3:15 only one room was ready. By 4 the other two still weren't ready and since they were in the same area as the one room we could use we could see that there was no activity in the rooms. We went back to the desk and were then given two other rooms on the same floor that were ready...not sure why that didn't happen initially. We also noticed that the original rooms were still not ready by 5PM and it seemed the same way the next day - it's odd to see the hallways full of housekeeping at 5PM. If you want to check in to your room anywhere near their 3PM checkin time I'd suggest calling ahead. Other than that everything else was excellent. The rooms have been updated and are very nicely appointed. The morning breakfast is good and the workers in the breakfast room are just awesome. Friendly, helpful etc. We were there during a heat wave so cooling off in the pool in the afternoon was perfect. We had a drink in the tavern one afternoon and the bartenders were so much fun we wanted to go back but just ran out of time. We'll definitely return to the Century House on our next visit to the area in the fall.

First impression lobby clean and modern - staff very welcoming . There’s plenty to do at mall across street - but a lot also in building- basketball court - pool - and fitness center . We really liked the long hours in pool- rooms were clean with blackout curtains that helped for a good nights rest- personally no noise complaints during the night. Staff were friendly, having the Hilton app allowed for easy communication to front desk . Each room has a mini fridge microwave coffee maker . breakfast which was delicious provides variety of beverages ( coffee , hot chocolate , juice, milk, water) and breakfast food ( what topped It off was the pancake machine) with a wave of your hand get two perfectly cooked pancakes . In case you miss breakfast they have 24/7 convenience snacks / beverages/ sweets and microwaveable goodies. In short I was very impressed with my stay at Tru by Hilton and plan to stay again :)

Ok, so we (a family of 5: myself, two teenagers and our two year old)booked a stay here because the location we usually stay at - Home2Suites in Albany was sold out. We called ahead to see if by chance our room might be ready an hour or two before check-in and are told that the room wouldn’t be available til check in time. No problem. We reserved one of the bigger, corner rooms at $172/night (average) so it was understandable. We arrived at the agreed upon checkin time and were told by a man wearing a blue, button down shirt that was so wrinkled, I questioned if he really worked there at first. He radioed to what I assume was his cleaning staff who told him that our room (526) was not yet available and there would be a 30-40 minute wait. My family and I braced for a long wait. Then a gentleman in a neatly-ironed, red, buttoned down shirt came to assist me and told me that in fact room 326 was available for us and there would be no wait. Thankfully that was the case and we didn’t have a wait but also didn’t have the room I had originally reserved. No problem. We had a similar room. By now, the man in the wrinkled shirt was addressing the crowd that was beginning to gather in the lobby loudly exclaiming: “ATTENTION EVERYBODY!!! I AM ONLY GOING TO SAY THIS ONCE SO LISTEN UP.” - he proceeded to yell to the waiting line (which looked like a mix of family and business travelers) the breakfast buffet hours and prices in an exasperated way that made me think they must be tired of confusion regarding the breakfast buffet. We’ve never been here before so I just shrugged my shoulders but found the public interaction awkward because this man who looked like he pulled his shirt out of the trash was speaking condescendingly to the line of travelers who just wanted to get their rooms. I found this entire opening process less than professional but was happy to get to our room. We had reserved the bigger room because we’re a family of 5. I entered that information when I created my reservation. When we got to our room we found the accommodations themselves sufficient but there were only two bath towels, two pillows and no linens for the sofa bed that the kids would be using. Not the end of the world so we called the front desk and to their credit they had our extra towels and bed linens up fairly quickly. But no pillows. It would’ve been cool to not have had to ask for any of these things. Presumably guests steal anything that’s not nailed down so I get it but there must be a better way. We called down again for pillows and they were brought up fairly quickly as well by a friendly attendant. The morning of Friday, August 19th was interesting. My wife and kids were excited to try out the Starbucks located on the ground floor so while they got ready in the room I decided to venture down and get coffee and pastries for everyone. I felt welcomed from the moment that I walked in the door. This was a relief because I had had a stressful day waiting for my husband to get out of surgery. The bathroom on the room sparkled. Great care was taken preparing the room. The next morning the front desk staff was just as friendly as those from the night before. I highly recommend this property.

The service at this location was absolutely perfect. The girls at the front desk were so kind and made my experience there perfect. For few short days that I stayed at this location almost felt homie do to the fact of the fanatic team of workers.

Still my go to choice in Albany. Clean, quiet and convenient to the legislative buildings and Albany medical. Decent pricing with free continental breakfast and a convenience shop in the lobby. The staff is very friendly and willing to assist as needed. The ADA Accessible room is not the best but adequate and average. Huge TV in living room and bedroom. All rooms are suites with stove and kitchen.pots, pans and dishes were clean and useable. Easily allows late check in and outs. Paid parking available that is very reasonable! Pool, jacuzzi and fitness area were all clean and secure.
