Miramar Al Aqah Beach Resort

This is our second visit to this hotel and it was good before but has improved since our previous stay. The food is very good and caters for all tastes, from European to Asian and has themed dinners in the evening. It also has a specialist Italian ,an Asian and beach restaurants which can be booked using a automated machine in the lobby area. It has a private beach with plenty of shade and a terrific outdoor swimming pool with a large area for sunbathing. We were fortunate enough to be here for New year's eve and the celebrations were held around the pool with a superb collection of dishes from their kitchens and entertainment included. The Animations Team were responsible for most of the show which was very professional indeed. One of the reasons we like this hotel is the animations team and the activities that they organise during day. There is a specialist team that provide entertainment for children and another group for adults. There is a variety of sports to enjoy, for example boules, dart, volley ball, water polo ,yoga, stretch classes and water aerobics. These were all organised by the team and really well presented. At this point I must mention the hotel staff, they are probably the nicest group of people I have ever met in the hotel trade. They are totally professional, polite, cheerful and incredibly helpful. The staff in the Cucina and the Asian restaurants were amazing and nothing was too much trouble for them and they really made you feel welcome. The main restaurant obviously caters for most of the guests and is a much larger venue and it is possible to eat outside in the evening and at lunchtime. Our waiter there was a man called Joni whom I need to make a special mention as he was very good at his job and very helpful to my wife. Others that I also need to mention are Alice from the Animations Team, The manager of the Cucina restaurant and his staff who were all terrific and Christina and Sarah from the Asian restaurant. The staff help to make your holiday a success and this hotel has too many on the staff to mention on here. I look forward to another visit in the future. Well done all of you.

We stayed at the Miramar Al Aqah Beach Resort from 9th until 15th January, 2024 and must say the year could not have started better! What a beautiful place to be! The hotel itself, moroccan-stile architecture, it's spectacular setting between the mountains and the Golf of Oman, the beautiful and well kept gardens, the spacious rooms with huge and comfortable beds, lovely balconies and various amenities, a good number of restaurants and bars, the extremely clean and good sized pool in the center of the hotel area, and last but not least the beach just a stone throw away from the hotel rooms. Even better is the international hotel staff. Doorman, concierge, receptionists, the restaurant and bar staff, housekeeping, the recreation team, cashiers, just everyone is so helpful and friendly. Our special thanks go to: Alice, Uyo, Daria, Mando, and all others of the recreation team. In a refreshing way they motivated us and others from morning to evening to participate in various sport programms an other activities. They were extremely good with kids and solved difficult situations professionally. It was always nice talking to them. As we had booked an all inclusive package (green band) we only visited the Al Majlis Restaurant. Our special thanks here go to: Jonny (always smiling and in a good mood, what a natural friendly person), Viola (professional, hard working, organized, so friendly with kids and a good sense of humor), Ivantha Nakulu, captain waiter (very professional, always there if needed, fair to his team but always trying to motivate them to do their best, very pleasant personality). And a big thank you to the DJ from Kairo (he made a special arrangement of Arabic music for us). More to mention: It takes quite a long time to drive from the airports to the Miramar Al Aqah (1.5 hrs from Sharjah, nearly 2 hrs. from Dubai). But it is absolutely worth it. There ist not much around within a good walking distance. However, you can reach a pharmacy and a little supermarket in a 10 minutes walk. Various tour operators have an attractive choice of tours to offer. You can book them inside the hotel. However, we did not book anything. There ist also a SPA and a variety of sport facilities which we did not use.

Beautiful Get away! On our arrival we were greeted by a warm smile possessed by a lovely gentleman called Sunday! He’s such a bright character. Then the next few days were spent in tranquil bliss. Making use of the fantastic beach, the sport facilities and relaxing in our pool view room, was well needed and just the tonic to feel revived and ready to face the busy life’s we lead. We came with our teenager who enjoyed all the facilities, plus the food. It truly was the best weekend away . Thank you to all the team for making it, a wonderful experience.

This hotel has been one of Fujairah's favorite hotels for the past 10 years. Small but cozy. Great beach, clean pool, well-kept green area. The hotel staff is always polite and professional! I say hello to Sunday - a friendly person who is one of the first to greet and see off guests and creates a good mood!

Beautiful hotel surrounding, plants and trees, lights. Great first time experience, nice pool and fantastic beach. Hotel was clean, friendly staff, good facilities, near beach. Bed comfortable, room big. Food choices were plentiful. Careful animation team, offering various activities day time. I can recommend!

Really amazed with the personalized experience ensuring the comfort as you like. The Minibar Attendant Jacob observed my preferences for initial days and then keep refining the service. Great example of personalized service by Miramar. Happy to be staying here ❤️

A wonderful vacation! Picturesque nature, amazing cuisine and incredibly friendly staff! Especially a huge thank you to Rahyl for the thorough daily cleaning! A friendly guy, ready to help at any moment! Towels and bed linen were changed every day! We are thrilled. A wonderful place for a quiet holiday with your family. We will definitely come back.

From start to finish the whole holiday experience was first class. Staff were amazing always smiling and so helpful and courteous. Food was very good in buffet restaurant or the Al Carte restaurants and bar staff were very attentive and professional st all times. It was one of our best holiday experiences ever. From being greeted from our taxi on arrival to checking out was flawless. We checked in at reception in record time even though we were three hours before check in time. The reception staff organised an earlier check in time for us by two hours which was excellent for us. The evening music six evenings a week that was outside the main bar were a fabulous trio and very much appreciated by guests. I could go on and on, that’s how much we were impressed. I would like to thank Christina for looking after us in the Thai restaurant and main restaurant also Hsu pronounced Su by us anyway and Violia who all looked after us all exceptionally every day. We couldn’t fault our holiday there, will definitely return
