The room was clean, with a very large, comfortable bed and excellent hot shower with great water pressure and 24-hour hot water. The hotel is a convenient 5-minute walk from the railway station - great if you are just passing through for a night and catching a train the next morning, but bring a pair of earplugs if you are a light sleeper and don't want to be disturbed by the sound of the trains coming and going. The staff are well-meaning, but inexperienced and a bit bungling. After I checked in, one came knocking on my door well after 10:30pm to ask me to fill out the usual traveler details (i.e. coming from where, next going to where, etc.) that should normally be collected at check-in. Fortunately I hadn't already gone to sleep, but was just stepping into the shower and he wouldn't stop knocking until I got dressed and came to the door. The next day at breakfast (included in the room rate), although I was the only one seated, I waited over an hour between being served coffee (which was loaded with sugar - they didn't bother to ask if I took it with cream or sugar) and being served the food (a very basic plate of scrambled eggs, so not exactly something difficult to prepare), and then only because I went and found the staff person who had seated me to ask what was going on.
