Ooedo Onsen Monogatari Higashiyama Grand Hotel

The breakfast and dinner buffets offered a wide variety of choices that satisfied everyone in the family. We would love to stay again.

The facilities and building are old. The hot springs were good. The staff were friendly and impeccable. It was a long weekend, so it was crowded with families. There were times when the toilet lever wouldn't turn back. Facilities are important, but Oedo Onsen has managed to survive the devilish COVID-19 pandemic. I guess we can put up with it in order to prioritize the staff's income. There's a wide variety of buffet dishes, so I would recommend it to families. The location is close to both Aizuwakamatsu city and the Aizu Samurai Residences, and although it's in the mountains, it's a quiet and relaxing place.

The building was old and the hot springs were a bit disappointing. The food was also mediocre.

Wi-Fi was only available in the lobby and didn't work in the rooms. The dinner buffet wasn't great, but the soft serve ice cream for dessert was delicious.

There were many dishes on the buffet menu, and everything was delicious. The large communal bath was also spacious and comfortable. I would like to go again.
