Had great experiences onsen at Konjakutei. Although both 2 baths are quite small but no issue. Almost no other user at the bathroom when I was using it. All guests can use outdoor bath at other facility nearby. Dinner and breakfast were excellent, especially breakfast. Room is reasonably big and has private bathroom which not used. Services were exceptionally well.

This hotel the hot spring is higher quality and clean , Good atmosphere, close to nature and streams. The staff are very attentive and provide higher service. Recommend for every generation including the family and couples during multiple activities.

Trip.com showed breakfast and dinner included, but the confirmation email only listed breakfast. Trip.com's price was also the most expensive. The service was good, and they offered a welcome drink, but I was shorted on dinner.

The structure is located in a quiet, green valley. From your room you can see the forest and hear a stream flowing, very relaxing. Our room was very spacious and equipped with many useful amenities. The personal was very helpful and kind.

We booked a room for the Spring Festival holiday as a family of three. During the day, we visited Ouchi-juku and Goshikinuma, and stayed at Higashiyama Onsen in the evening. The hotel is a very Japanese-style hotel. Although the facilities are a bit old, they are very well maintained and considered a high-end onsen hotel. Upon arrival, the front desk asks you to change your shoes and then helps you carry all your luggage to your room. A staff member even comes to the hotel to welcome you and personally introduces you to the hotel facilities. The onsen itself isn't large, but it completely faces the hillside outside the window, allowing you to soak while enjoying the snowy scenery. It's perfect for relaxation and rejuvenation. We booked a package including breakfast and dinner because the location is very remote, and it's very cold in winter, so there are definitely no restaurants nearby. Breakfast and dinner were excellent, served in a private room, and everyone ate their fill. The food was delicious and very Japanese. Overall, it was a great experience, but transportation is inconvenient. We rented a taxi and drove from the JR station, which took 15 minutes. If you take the bus to Higashiyama Onsen, you have to walk uphill for a few minutes after getting off. At night, you can hear the stream flowing outside the hotel, which is very white noise, and I slept quite well. The hot spring hotels here are all built along the stream, so I guess it must be very cool in the summer.

My husband and I stayed here for one night to celebrate our wedding anniversary. There isn't an open-air bath, but the hot springs were fantastic. If you want to use an open-air bath, you can use the one at the nearby Harataki Honkan for free, and they even provided a shuttle bus service to pick you up and drop you off. The breakfast and dinner were also excellent; I ended up eating too much! All the staff were incredibly kind and helpful. It was a wonderful trip.

I was very happy with how kind the staff were. The room was also well-appointed, which was very helpful. The food was delicious, both dinner and breakfast. I received a gift at the end, which made me feel the warm hospitality. I would definitely stay here again.

The hotel service was very friendly! I have a picky diet, and they were very accommodating! Of course, I contacted them in advance, and they really followed my request! Definitely deserves a full score!
