We had a nice stay at the Knights Rest. Rooms were cozy and well decorated. The breakfast was delicious. But the best part was the owner Suzanne! She was lovely and very helpful. The sign and driveway are easy to miss. But the off street parking was worth it. A great value!

We were having building work done at home and I needed somewhere to stay whilst the heavy work was being carried out. I have always believed in supporting local business and that is why I booked the Knights Rest.....its wonderful when your choice is vindicated!. The accommodation was first class, the hosting from Suzanne was excellent and the breakfast was tasty and hearty. I honestly can't recommend this establishment highly enough....go stay and be looked after.

Really friendly host in Suzanne with the room prepared to a good standard. Even though I’d made a booking for one instead of two she sorted this without any fuss. Breakfast was top drawer with good scrambled eggs for my wife and full Scottish for me. Off road parking was good. Nicely located near our friends.

We went to a family funeral and booked this guest house for an overnight stay, the rooms are very well equipped and comfortable, the host was most welcoming ,added bonus parking and a good breakfast,there is such a relaxed feeling about the place and there's no rushing people out.

We stayed a couple of nights for a family wedding. New to area Suzanne was very helpful. Room had comfortable beds. In room kettle with all you need for a few teas and coffees. Breakfast was very filling. Would not hesitate to revisit this B&B.

Just returned from two nights . Suzanne greeted us warmly even though we were early . More than satisfied with our room . Double bed , wall mounted TV, shower / en suite, tea / coffee biscuits. Asked Suzanne regards evening meal ( travel lagged) allowing me to have takeaway in room .( with wine) . Breakfast fit for a Knight or two.

Clean functional room comfortable bed nice overall . Breakfast was freshly cooked to my order and presented well by the friendly hostess. A warm welcome on arrival and in a central location.I will Use this accommodation in the future. Could not fault any aspect of my stay .

Wonderful stay. Spacious clean room, clean bathroom, very comfortable bed, excellent breakfast. Our host, Susane, was very friendly and a wealth of information. She runs a very well organized site. The only reason for a rating of 4 is because we were in room 3, and the head of the bed is against the outside wall, which is next to the street. Road traffic disrupted our sleep occasionally.
