It feels OK! Breakfast in the morning, including fruit, milk, orange juice, eggs, bread, beef slices, coffee, not bad but basically it! The room is not bad! There is a snack in the afternoon! Free beer! The environment is better!

This place is not the fanciest motel. I’ve been to. But they have ample truck parking. It could use some work on the parking without a doubt. The motel was nice clean and comfortable. The lady at check-in was amazing. Waffle house right next door. Several other eating places within walking distance. I will be back!

I read the reviews and it seemed like a good place to stay. Someone said it was a ”quiet place”. I don't know where their room was, but mine was on the front side and I had to run the fan all night to block out the noise. The room was fine thought the bathroom was obviously a little sad. The shower curtain was dirty, the plumbing was not attached to the wall in the shower. I decided not to take a shower because I was concerned about it. But the bed and tv was fine. While I saw no problems in the area, there must be, since they choose to keep people out of the lobby. I arrived before 7 pm and had to take to someone through a hole in the window. I don't blame them for wanting to be safe, but if it is so dangerous that they lock people out then I won't be back. Also, they charge $5.00 extra if you want to swim in their pool. Ridiculous. The family that runs the hotel are very friendly. And if you are coming to see the lights at Hopeland Gardens, it is very close.

Yesterday, July 25th, 6:00 p.m. I went through the drive thru and ordered a newly advertised 2pc spicy fish dinner. When I got home and opened the box the 2 pieces of fish were 2 puny strips maybe 1”x 5”. 1 hush puppy had lost 1/2 of the crust, the other half hush puppy looked like somebody took took a bite out of it and threw it back in the box. When I went back to the restaurant to return the food, I found both doors looked. I walked to the drive thru and was told there were only 2 employees there that is why. She was not a bit of apologetic and I had to demand that the fish and hush puppies would be replaced. They also didn't suggest the shrimp in the drive thru. According to the sign it is supposed to be free if they don't. I was told ”That they don't give away free shrimp” when I mentioned it. The fish was barely spicy, puny, and oil soaked.

The hotel is in a perfect location, very clean and shiny. Christy was very helpful upon arrival. The rooftop bar is beautiful 2 HUGE negatives AC didn’t work, called for service and all they did was turn the thermostat down to 60. The thermostat said 72 but it wasn’t (we keep our house at 78) It was Hot, fan never came in all night, my husband turned the thermostat Off and waited Fan finally came on when he turned it back on but not compressor. So after sweating all night got up to take a shower and NO hot water. Very disappointed

We have had to stay in 8 hotels in the Carolinas due to the changes imposed on our work during COVID. This is the cleanest hotel by far. Every detail, the floors, the kitchen, grouting in the tub, no dust in the floor moldings. The management here obviously cares and holds a high standard. Great place to work with desk chair and two Ethernet hookups as well. The one bedroom suite allows one person to work without disturbing those trying to rest.
