Hotel Taj Resorts

Pros: 24-hour front desk service, about a 15-20 minute walk to the Taj Mahal. Breakfast is served on the lowest floor with a good variety of food. Cons: The instructions given by the hotel front desk were unclear; they told us we couldn't enter the Taj Mahal after 5:30 PM, but we found out entry was actually permitted until 6:15 PM. The hotel is located on the basement level, so there's no natural light. There were flies in the restaurant, which made it feel unsanitary. Summary: Overall, it was just average. This is the best and cleanest hotel we stayed at in Jaipur. We spent 2 nights here. The guy at the reception was nice and helped us. We received a very warm welcome, with flower garlands placed around our necks. The hotel is very clean. The breakfast is delicious and varied.

Our first room was noisy next door, and I couldn't sleep after being woken up early in the morning, so I asked to change rooms, and they immediately accommodated us. Thanks to that, we had a very relaxed stay. This hotel is ideally located with a rooftop bar offering views of the Taj Mahal, and it's within walking distance. However, it might not be suitable for those who prefer local restaurants.
