Stayed another early autumn holiday at the Rixos Krasnaya Polyana with my daughter. It was perfect in all aspects, best regards and many thanks to the hotel team. Location is the best, in the heart of the mountains with very easy excess to the facilities of Krasnaya Polyana and seaside Sochi. In the recent years (I am a visitor since 2017) the hotel is definitely keeping his place of the best in the spot, with a lot of improvements going on.

Marriott is no longer that!!! Previously, there were 70 thousand for two in the Standard (it was not important, with a view to the mountains or on the road), stopped for 85 thousand for two with Launja on the 6th floor... How the hosts changed, a week of residence - 145,000 for two without Launja in The standard room (now it became ”with the view on the mountains,” ”without the view on the mountains”! ? , before one price was! ), and in fact NOTHING BEST NOTHING BEST !!!! Everything the same (bedroom, coats, salary of the maids!)!!! The only thing that pleases is the ”Swedish table” is the same magical. And who writes that ”places to wait” so you come not to 10-10.30h. in queue, but in 7-8 h. - in general there is a man 10 on the whole huge hall! ”Who gets up early...” you know?! And more: came to you on August 27, booked a transfer to the beach on August 29. And on that day the bus-transfer slowly passed the corner of ”Marriotta” and hid behind the turn!!! What is the service? He didn't stop for a minute! It had to take a taxi to go to the beach ☹️ 15 times in the last 6 years we lived with you!!! What happened to your service for a double price??? Where are you going??? On one-time residents calculation?

Given we live in Russia during Covid we decided on a week family break in Sochi - first time for such a vacation there. First of all the hotel is excellent - with 2 pools, several bars and restaurants, bike hire, animation, kids play zones, spa and fitness. It is set up like a super resort and we (with our 9 year old) loved it - just a pity was only a week! It is located with access to its own beach, and has many great bars and restaurants close by within walking distance. You can walk to Sochi Park amusement park, to see the dancing fountains at night, and the promendade is a lively area both day and night to shop, eat, drink and dance. I was pleasantly surprised at how this part of Sochi has developed since 2014 - super impressed and would return. We took a day trip to the mountains - Rosa Khutor - this was amazing, and had no need in fact to go into downtown Sochi itself.
