PROS: Fantastic customer service! Eage to accommodate our needs. Breakfast was excellent! It comprised a hot and cold buffet. Well organised too with assistants coming round to top up hot drinks. Reasonably clean rooms although outdated. The bed was extremely comfortable. The bathroom is also clean with hot running water, particularly in the winter! CONS: Once reaching our floor, it was disheartening seeing the difference in appearance and the level of standard compared to what the lobby looked liked. Also finding our room was like setting onto a maze to begin with but we soon got used to it. We were put on a non-smoking floor but the smell of cigarettes was very strong. The bedroom was outdated and in need of renovation in terms of carpet and decor and furniture (although the bed was probably the most comfortable bed ever). Again we became used to the dip in standards. Overall would stay at the Safir again as the pros outweigh the cons.

We stayed here for 1 month in August, and now we returned again. Indiana Hotel is a great option for affordable accomodation in Cairo. Located in Dokki, a pleasant area with lots of shops, cafes, pharmacies nearby, and the river nile 2 min walk away with beautiful restaurants. The best thing about the hotel is the spacious, big rooms, comfy beds. Large fridge, TV, lots of seating area in the room, Also they include breakfast which makes it better value, you can expect things like Egyptian bread, fresh salad, falafel, and free coffee or tea. The staff are all friendly, accommodating. If you are looking for basic, clean accomodation it's perfect. located in a nice area of Dokki. Recommend cafe Antakh 2min walk away.

I would like to express my gratitude to multiple staff members at this hotel. Front desk: many thanks to A/Rahman Amr, Ismail and Mahmoud. During their night shift, I was greeted with pleasure and to a degree, a personal level. All of my requests were fulfilled. Overall made my stay very memorable and made to feel at ease. Our conversations and laughters were great and unforgettable. Thank you for making this an incredible experience. From the bridge cafe, night staff members Omar Mostafa and Mohamed Salah were pleased to see me on each visit. The service I received from them were personal and they knew my regular orders. This is excellent customer service and I have sung their praises to their manager. From the fitness centre, Magdi became my first point of contact and he had treated me with great care. He has most certainly gone above and beyond to fulfil my requirements regarding the poolside and wellness. Shehata had remembered me from my previous stays 15 years ago and more. He was happy to see me after such a long time. The Poolside staff were very kind with their service when serving food and drink. And given the hot weather and high demanding visitors by the pool, they deserve the recognition for their patience and efforts. Housekeeping on the 4th floor of the south tower. They work extremely hard and I do my best to remain respectable. I endeavoured to keep my room requiring minimal work to be done and request the bare essentials. They were accommodating of my room requests . My only criticism of this hotel is the nightclub. This never used to exist in the hotel. It attracts the most unsavoury characters and the female frequenters are of a paid kind. The sooner this is done away with, the better. The hotel staff are not there to deal with this kind of mess. That aside, recognition must be given where it is due and each member of staff I have mentioned are a true credit to the Marriott group. Thanks again .

Want a big bed room is gone. . But the room was clean and the front desk was good. It is very convenient to go to the Nile for 10 minutes. You can see the city on the terrace. There are also many convenience stores and restaurants nearby. The location is good.

Such a beautiful hotel with incredibly kind staff who are more than willing to accommodate and provide whatever is needed. The hotel is very safe with high level security, and a great location with short driving distance to the Nile. The interior of the hotel was gorgeous, and felt very luxurious; we also very much enjoyed the outdoor lounge area. The rooms are spacious and clean, our room had a gorgeous view of the Nile. The breakfast was hands down the best breakfast I ate in Egypt, they had a large spread with the perfect selection. The staff brought us water bottles daily and allowed us to store our luggage in a safe room while we traveled to Luxor and Hurghada. I cannot say enough good things about this hotel and team, you could not go wrong booking with them!

The hotel is relatively clean and new. Bed linen and towels are normal. The location is convenient: on the ground floor there is a good Yemeni restaurant, next to it there is a good coffee shop, the metro is close. The main attractions of Cairo are equidistant from the hotel. The air conditioning system smells terribly of cigarette smoke, if possible - do not turn on the air conditioning. Without a ”bribe” they give rooms with windows on the highway. Demand a replacement!

This hotel was one of the accommodations where we stayed during our organized tour. We had 3 rooms 401, 404 and 405. The rooms and bathroom are spacious. The beds are fine, the neighborhood is quiet compared to the rest in Cairo. The rooms are very noisy, but we were outside the high season so there was relatively little noise. ATM is around the corner. The breakfast was reasonable. We are used to getting coffee and tea ourselves, but the staff will do that for you. Important: at least it is clean. So if you are looking for a hotel in this area, I would safely recommend this one. You will receive a WiFi code at the counter, which is valid for one day and then you have to get a new code at the counter.
