The hotel was nice with good sized room & helpful staff. I’m not a fan of bath with a shower curtain but that’s probably my only negative.

Staff friendly, food good but rooms very basic and dated, no frills type hotel. Pool smaller than pictures appear, very small. Only bonus is the hot tub is super hot which is great! Overall it’s a place to put your head down, beds comfy but nothing much more.

Unfortunately our room smelt of damp/wet dog so went to reception to inform them and asked for an air freshener, the gentleman at reception went and spoke with someone else and then took me to see 2 other rooms, these rooms both had the same smell so we stuck with the room we were currently in as we had our 4 year old with us. The gentleman from reception came back with some air freshener spray which I was allowed to use and then he took it away again.
We have stayed here a few times before and never noticed the smell. The carpet was filthy/old as well which was probably where the smell was coming from.
The breakfast was okay, 1 pancake machine which took ages to make pancakes which our 4 year old wanted but because it was popular there was always a queue, could be doing with another couple of them?
I don't think we will stay here again, which is unfortunate as it's where we usually stay as it's easy to get to and not right in the middle of the city and has ample parking.
