Siem Reap Hotels & Accommodations

Booked this hotel only for two nights 6-8 Jan. My past experience during my earlier travels in some cases was bad in the sense the hotel description and photographs were not factual. I reached the Angkor land Urban Botuque on 6 Jan afternoon to check in. First look at the Hotel building told me I have made the right choice. The most happening place in Siem Reap the Pub Street was about a km away. The hotel surrounding were very clean with a wide road in front and a big parking space in front. As soon as I entered the huge lobby with teak wood interiors I was greeted by the the hotel staff team. Check in took just a couple of minutes. Meanwhile the Manager of the hotel Mr. Eng Sona came and met me too which was a nice feeling. He said he is giving me a very good room on the fourth floor and if I did not mind he would shift me to a still better room the very next day which was then occupied. The room was very big and very comfortable. Had all the amenities. The next day the Manager showed me the other room on the third floor. I agreed to shift. This room too was large, the bathroom had a bath tub and in addition a separate glass bath enclosure too. It had a balcony too overlooking the swimming pool. The pool was excellent. Breakfast menu was also very good. The hotel arranged my tours too. Tuk Tuk and the motorcycle buggy called the Remork was always available just outside the hotel.. After this most wonderful experience in the first two days I extended my stay further for the remaining days too from 8- 11 Jan 24. The Manager Mr.Sona met me regularly to enquire if I was comfortable and whether I needed anything. His team of young boys and girls too were very responsive and greeted the guests everytime. I did not find any flaw or anything to complain about during my entire stay. I had the the most memorable experience in Angkor Land Urban Boutique thanks to Mr. Sona the Manager and his team.

I visited herein December 2019 and stayed for 11 nights in one of the poolside villas. I have to say, the room was amazing, the pool area was fantastic and I had the most wonderful time. After traipsing around Angkor Wat all day, it was wonderful to come back to such a peaceful and serene setting for a decent rest. I've recommended this resort to nearly all my friends since my return and I can't wait to go back there one day. Across the road from the resort there is a shop and two cafes, so you don't even have to go far for a cup of coffee or some local cuisine. I have nothing negative to say about this place. I loved it.

Apologies in advance for the long review but hopefully it will contextualise the review title! Booked to stay for three nights, hotel reached out in advance to arrange airport transfer (no charge) and my transfer was there ready and waiting when I landed with water and a cold towel. Arrived at the hotel and received a lovely welcome drink and nibbles. Staff were extremely warm and friendly, taking lots of time to explain everything about the hotel. The room was clean and of a very good standard, I’d deliberately opted for a room that wasn’t pool facing as I suspected it would be quieter facing away from the road. Reality is I don’t know for sure if there was any real difference but the room was very quiet and comfortable. Can’t say I missed the pool view. Room had very good Wi-Fi so was able to work one morning. Air con super effective. Netflix on the tv. Great rain shower with lots of pressure. I had a sun-rise tour booked so the hotel arranged a takeaway breakfast of my choice for me. Again ready at the time they said it would be (4am as per my request). The spa in the hotel (read massages and treatment) was brilliant. Can’t again rate it more highly and would definitely recommend. For us foreigners it’s incredibly affordable compared to back home. Complimentary lunch organised by the hotel was also superb. Hotel is within walking distance (5 mins) to the more touristy food streets and markets. Area felt extremely safe. Return airport transfer (again free) exactly on time as agreed. Honestly you can’t take clear communication and hotel organisation for granted. Thank you to all the team at the hotel for an amazing stay. You were all fantastic and I wish you all every success!

Very good hotel! It is worth recommending. The hotel facilities, public area environment, and service attitude cannot be said enough. The effect is the same as in the photos. Precautions: 1. Ctrip says there is a free airport pick-up, but with the opening of the new airport, this service is no longer provided. If you ask the hotel to call a taxi, it costs 35 knives. There is a bus from the airport to the city, and then you have to walk about 1 km. The price is $8 per person. If you take a taxi at the airport, you can bargain down to $25. 2. Ctrip said that it provides free 15-minute massage, but after asking, I learned that a 1-hour massage can be discounted at 20%. It seems that there is no direct free massage service. 3. The hotel swimming pool closes at 6 p.m. 4. There may be geckos in the room, but this happens in almost all hotels in Siem Reap. Remember to close the doors and windows in time. If you find a gecko, you can ask the service staff to catch it. 5. The hotel will provide free welcome drinks and refreshments, as well as free snacks every day.

My first time to experience such a world class treatment from all the staff. I was picked up from the airport and offered me a cold towel and a cold drink. When i arrived at the hotel, i was greeted with a welcoming drink and another cold towel. The buffet breakfast were so superb. Every time i sat at the table, they would again gave me a cold towel. (Seriously, this hotel has tons of cold towels 😂). Every time i went to the pool, there was a hot tea and an unlimited banana chips being served immediately. My room was insanely beautiful. I was welcome with a personalised note in my bed, great view of the balcony and very chic bath tub. The room's interior design is also to die-for. 😍 To the staff, thank you guys for being so friendly, approachable and professional. Special mentions to the Supervisor who always greets me with a welcoming smile whenever he sees me (sorry i forgot your name sir). To Ms Chet, who gave me a tour. To the guy who gave me a scarf upon checkout( sorry i also forgot your name, too. ☹️). To Mr. Myr whose very approachable. To the girl who helped me take my pictures in the pool (sorry i forgot your name too) and to my driver Mr Moe. Thank you guys for making my stay a memorable one. Just a little thing to add, I’m just not used about the cleaning protocol. I was startled and woke up many times by the hotel cleaning staff by automatically opening my door and asked me if i want to clean the room even though i did not put a signage in front of my door or informing somebody. However, those are just small matter than can be fixed. Truthfully, i don’t have anything bad to say about this hotel. I don’t mind staying here for a long time. ❤️❤️❤️

While staying at Metta residence my Husband enjoyed a nine night stay. The breakfast buffet was consistent each morning and lucky served us each day with a smile and fresh hot coffee. The rooms were clean daily and very spacious. The front desk was always hopeful. It was a bit moist at times. Tuk Tuk driver called Kimsun was extremely helpful and very generous, many evenings, he drove us around without asking for anything extra, which gave us a reason to provide him with a great tip. I do recommend this hotel for couples and families. The pool is beautiful and is in the sun until about 4 PM daily.

We stayed the first time in Hotel Vellita Siem Reap- what a bliss! We felt home from the very first minute. A very warm welcome by the guest relations team Reaksmey/Kevin, lovely suite, great breakfast (excellent service and amazing food / choice). The pool is lovely to unwind and the gym well equipped. Will be back!

Good place for vacation June 8th, Angkor Grace Residence & Wellness Resort in Siem Reap, Cambodia. Located not far from Angkor Wat, the only villa-style five-star resort hotel in Siem Reap opened today. Stepping into the hotel, you will be attracted by the extraordinary open door. From the vermilion door, there is an elegant and gentle atmosphere. Hello Angkor Grace! As a guest of the resort hotel for the first week of opening, I entered the hotel room with a happy mood. I booked a three-bedroom one-bedroom suite, with a spacious living room, kitchen and dining room, and a comfortable bedroom. There are two bathrooms in the suite. The whole set covers an area of ​​about 100 square meters. There are also large suites on the second floor and the third floor that should be larger and more rooms, suitable for a multi-person family. The spacious living room is bright and furnished with Cambodian-inspired furniture, simple and comfortable. Through the glass wall of the landing hall, you can see the elegant environment of the green courtyard outside. The bedroom is also very warm, especially through the glass door of the bedroom, you can sit and chat under the green plants in the backyard. I think it will be a cozy atmosphere in the morning and evening after getting up before going to bed. The kitchen and dining room are very pleasant, with a full set of kitchen utensils and tableware and a large refrigerator, and all kinds of utensils in the room are very exquisite. This instantly brings back the feeling of being at home. This is what a vacationer is looking for and that is the rarest of things. You can choose to dine in the hotel restaurant or enjoy the fun of cooking by yourself. Going out for a walk in the yard is even more amazing. The rating is solely based on budget hotel standard. Stayed 5 nights. Plenty of mosquitoes and the air conditioning was not working properly. Unfortunately the weather was hot too. Complained and all was taken care well. Friendly staff. The room was huge, comfortable and clean beds, clean wc, quiet environment and nice pool. All things needed after a long and tiring day are checked off. We even requested for hot water, the staff provided us with water heater and cups. The food was ok too. 3$ for tuktuk to Pub Street

Nice hotel with Cambodian flair. The staff was great and truly gave 5 star service with friendly smiles. Everyone was such a pleasure. The lobby staff was knowledgeable and helped arrange several outings. The hotel can arrange private cars and guides. They also have a relationship with several trustworthy tuktuk drivers that adhere to fair set prices for trips into downtown and the wats. This helped the one and only downside of the hotel being a little far from downtown areas. Otherwise the location was perfect for relaxing between sights. The breakfast buffet was decent with a good variety, and the lunch and dinner menu was better than many restaurants within walking distance. Rooms were clean and comfortable and the whole experience was worthy of a 5 star level
