Checked in and went to the room. Having two small children, I had booked on the understanding that the hotel had excellent facilities for them. Was very disappointed to find that all facilities were closed due to the China Import Expo which was in progress. This was not made clear at the time of booking nor at check in, in fact the check in staff seemed entirely unaware that the facilities were closed, directing us to the children’s restaurant even though it was closed. A shame to have this experience as previous trips to this hotel had been very enjoyable.

I have booked hotel with superior room with breakfast and free afternoon tea set for 2 nights. The check in staffs are so nice...kindly explanation all details. The room is so clean and perfect decoration. The view from balcony is Shanghai happy valley park. The hotel area is so big and fit to kids. We love the hotpot diner at Lebua restaurant, fresh meats and vegetables.

We stayed at the hotel during Dragon Boat Festival. The clerks at the counters were very helpful and friendly. The staff at the swimming pool were great and always had good conversations with my kids. The lifeguards were very grumpy. The food in Sun Cafe was okay. If you like Chinese food you'll love it. My kids enjoyed the swimming pool and play area. It is clear that the hotel has seen better days but for the price and the location it wasn't too bad. The hotel is far from downtown and the nearest Metro/subway is almost 1km from the hotel. The nearest mall is about 10 minutes walk. Overall, we had a good time.

When we arrived, it was close to noon, and the doorman read the reservation before putting it into the hotel. Because it was Saturday, the front desk waited for a while to check in, but the service attitude was ok. I booked the mermaid room. From the corridor, the children kept saying wow it's so beautiful~ The children in the room also liked it very much. If there is a caring little plush doll, the children may play with it all the time. It is very convenient for the hotel to enter the park directly. There are still many people on Saturday. You can see the estimated queuing time on the applet. It would be better if you can locate your own location and plan the route of each exhibition hall. The takeaways ordered by the hotel at night are also quite comfortable. There are a lot of people who use the hotel for breakfast, and the dining environment is generally quite satisfactory. There is no color, and it is not delicious. The overall is still good, I feel that if you come on a weekday, the overall price/performance ratio will be higher.
