Have stayed at KSL Hotspring many times before COVID. Booked Superior Twin room this time. Room is quite small but has a nice city view. Toiletries provided include only 2 toothbrushes and 2 small tubes of toothpaste, shower gel and shampoo. Better bring your own toothbrush as they provide flimsy toothbrush with hard bristles. The glass shower door does not keep all the water in the shower, some splatters outside the shower area and hence the toilet is always wet.
The cupboard sliding door is also faulty. It is very hard to slide open and close.
This is the first time breakfast was included in my hotel booking so I was quite surprised at the breakfast selections available. It was not bad at all.FromSGD 45

Air cond at living room was defective. Unbearable during these few days when weather was so hot. Ended up we had to check out earlier to soak ourselves in air cond malls. Heater at common bathroom was also not functioning properly. Water was still hot even though the dial of instant heater was set to “off”. We had to turn on both shower heads/taps to mix the hot and cold water ourselves. No hand soap was provided even though Covid taught us to be mindful of hygieneFromSGD 61

This was a staycation and we booked an executive twin with ‘2 large single beds’ as advertised, but the room was very small, so were the beds. Although rather well-appointed in terms of furnishings, there just isn’t quite enough space for 2 adults and a pre-teen child to roam. The tv is also smaller usual. There is no breakfast provided but the street that the hotel is located at has some options, but not where I would go for breakfast. The Mount Austin theme park is nearby, but if that’s where you’re heading, I’d assume you would like more space and comfort to chill out after an entire day of play. FromSGD 45

Pretty decent hotel. The location is amazing since it's in the Austin area. Infinite good food here. Everything is in walking distance.
Breakfast choices are decent, can surely be improved by having more choices.
The decorations can too be improved, the hotel is blessed with too much space, thus this is something they can think hard on to fill in all the blanks. Else it looked empty and sad.
Price wise and hotel room is good. Will still recommend this place mainly due to the amazing location.FromSGD 69

Very affordable, paid like S$25 for 2pax only.
Mostly clean except floor, can't be barefooted.
Provide toothbrushes, toothpastes, shampoo, shower gel, hot water, towels, hangers and slippers.
Door a bit too near to toilet bowl, just be careful.
TV remote will have instructions but buttons behind the TV are hidden, so still need call crew for help.
Hair dryer will be provided, but upon request at counter/call service.
Overall pleasant and comfortable stay, recommended to those who want to have easier access to Aeon mall in tebrau city.FromSGD 33

First time staying at this hotel, the hotel location super convenience at the heart of Mount Austin and customer service wise is very good but the room is not up to the standard because no facial tissue, no disposable room slipper, no sanitary bag and I found stains on their towel. My boyfriend say the bed is soft and nice to sleep but abit disappointed on the cleanliness and toiletries guess I won’t be booking this hotel next round. Upon checkout the receptionist only told me that we need to request for facial tissue and they will only provide.FromSGD 85

4 of us checked into The Arden’s over the weekend for a 2 day trip in jb. We checked into the luxe king. There is a security to look over the outdoor car park, and front desk available 24/7. These are plus points. However, much can be improved for The Arden’s. The towel are all mouldy and yellowish, air con aren’t cold, and the bed sheets had stains and strands of hair left over from the previous guest (I believe). However the location is very convenient, but I am not willing to settle for a aircon that’s blowing warm air, so I don’t think I will be staying at The Arden’s till they re-renovate again. But still, thanks for the stay.FromSGD 42

Booked tatami room for 4, not like the pictures shown. Room was cold with a strong aircon. However, water heater is not exactly hot and water pressure is low. Basic amenities like bath towel and toothbrush is given, 3-in-1 shower gel provided.
Tatami bed only have got one side with plugs while the other queen size does not have any. There was no fridge in the room, which was a big minus point because the weather can get very warm. Tv comes with channels which is a bonus.
Location was ideal with alot of eateries opposite the hotel, on the other stretch of road, but can be challenging to cross it because of the high volume of cars. A good stay but would prefer a place with more dining options nearby.FromSGD 23
