KLCC Kuala Lumpur|0.87km from downtown
Took 1+1 suite. One king room and a single bed room. The king room has attached bathroom. The single room is very compact with room for the bed and a cupboard. Another toilet is just next to it. There is a shower within but there is no hot water supply to this toilet. So don't understand why there is a shower. No one would want to bathe in cold water. There are 2 wide tv screens one in the room one in the hall with access to youtube and Netflix. The suite comes with a kitchen with utensils, cups, glasses l, kettle, microwave and a induction stove. They provide coffee, tea, sugar and creamer. There is also a washer/dryer and they gave laundry detergent. Iron board, iron, hair dryer, safe, bathrobes, slippers are all provided. There is also a fridge and they gave us complimentary water and soft drinks. Room service came everyday and cleaned up very well. However, the white fabric sofa was not very well maintained it had stain and dirt marks all over. My kids did not mind but it irked me. Hopefully they change it to PVC sofa for easier maintenence. If you need anything they are just a intercom button away. Breakfast is served at the 42nd floor did not visit it though. Their pool is awesome with jacuzzi but have to warn you the water is very cold. The building blocks the rising sun so the pool is shaded very well but the water is cold. They have a pool for kids and an infinity pool for adults. The depth is not too deep my 7 year old son could still stand in it with his head up. There are sofas and lounge chairs to relax at the poolside. Changing room and toilets are available. The only complaint I have is the sewer stench that lingers in the toilet and it was worst in the swimming pool changing room. For the room we had to keep the door closed and the fan extractor on to reduce the stench. Hopefully the hotel could fix this issue. The other thing is the hotel is located up a hill. So the walk to the main road is uphill/downhill but the hotel provides a buggy service to get you to the main road. From there Pavilion mall is about a 5 to 8 min walkaway. Due to its location expect jams around the surrounding main roads. But if you love to walk then Pavillion, Fahrenheit 88 and other shopping malls are easy to access. KLCC is also walkable if you don't mind the distance. Otherwise you can GRAB. They also provide a shuttle service but did not utilise. There are 2 fixed timing for the shuttle service if I recall. If you expect to see the Petronas towers you would be disappointed as there is a new building that blocks it. But we could see one tower and the top of the KL tower. Overall, we like our stay, hopefully the hotel fixes all the minor issues we encountered.
