Booked executive pool villa, warm welcome upon check in. Room spacious and well appointed. Sumptuous dinner at the restaurant, colonial style. Service was very caring and detailed. (Only one reco. To warm up the plate so the food stay hot a bit longer). The breakfast place is breathtaking with a view on Borudurur. The variety and taste of the food is perfect. is Big thank you to Vivek and his team for all the arrangements.

The hotel sells tickets for Borobudur and the top of the mountain to watch the sunrise, and also provides a paid shuttle to the place to watch the sunrise. The room is about 5 meters high, the facilities are simple and outdated, the courtyard and corridors have good environment and design, and the breakfast is simple, but it is not bad in this area. The security of the hotel is very polite and enthusiastic. The price of Borobudur and Prambanan tickets for foreigners is 8 times that for locals!

I booked the pick-up service, and the plane was one hour later. I was a little embarrassed about the first overseas free travel, and I saw a warm pick-up master when I left the hotel. When I arrived at the hotel, I met a patient and warm front desk. I suddenly felt at home. I made an appointment to watch the sunrise the next day and return the service to the Yogyakarta Hotel. The price is reasonable, the service is in place, and the sanitation is a little bit worse. It is also worth choosing. I hope to give a reference to friends of the tour.

Very close to Borobudur, not booked at the Net Red Hotel, breakfast is OK, there are four choices, fruit bowls and drinks. However, Borobudur personally does not recommend to go, it does not mean anything, the photo can not be photographed, the time to go in January, may predict the reason, the sunrise did not see, the fog is not as good as Prambanan. Personally feel that sunrise and sunset are better at the top of the mountain, as well as volcanic clouds, the brand is too expensive and not worth it. There are free bicycles and motorcycles to rent.

It was a stay while I couldn't speak English, but the staff was kind and gave me a written explanation on paper, or I called a taxi on the way home and was able to stay comfortably. The room is beautiful. There is a pot for boiling water. It is a quiet environment. There is a convenience store within a 1-minute walk. Purchase sunrise ticket for Borobudur Temple at the hotel. Rp: 470000. Transfer to local gate around 4:30 and buffet after appreciation (delicious) However, there is a hotel in the opposite direction to the restaurant on the way back, so it is necessary to return from another gate. Rp: 35-370,000 when purchasing tickets locally, not at the hotel. It is cheap, but you can enter it from 6:00 to no pick-up. Whether there is a buffet is unknown. Sunrise is crowded and early departure is recommended.

We spent three nights at Gopalan. The first night was a bit shaky, but not because of the hotel. There was an intermittent power outage in Borobodur. Dadang, the night manager, calmly helped us and even upgraded our room. His calming influence was a sign of things to come. Maria, the hotel manager, arranged our trip to the Borobodur Temple with a fantastic guide, Udin. She arranged Javanese massages with two expert therapists. Our driver, Teddy, arranged by Maria for our rides back and forth to Yogyakarta, was sort of a mini tour guide himself. Room was nice, a bit spartan, but fine. WiFi worked nicely, Good swimming pool. Solid cable TV. Restaurant was surprisingly good for both breakfast and dinner. Try the avocado with egg for breakfast, and the Indonesian noodles were excellent for dinner. And you're out in the country, with a working farm out your front door, and just a 20 minute walk to the Temple. Recommend highly for those seeking a relaxed atmosphere and adventure amid the Indonesian noise and pollution. Rustic, but pretty sophisticated. Great spot for walking.

The location of the hotel is near to the entrance of the Borobudur Temple and walking distance to the main street of Borobudur Town. The staff are friendly and able to speak good English. The facilities are adequate. The breakfast is fantastic. The design of the room is beautiful but the workmanship is awful and need maintenance and refurbishment, for example, people can easily peep inside the room through a crevice in the door or the wall, the toilet floor can be easily get dirty. There are giant ants in the toilet too.
