This hotel seems quite new, beds and bathrooms are in top shape. The location isn't perfect (10 min walk from central train station; few restaurants/shops nearby) but I can live with it. Main downside is the service. I understand this is a select-service, mid-scale property but it is sub-par even for that. I had staff which had difficulties speaking either English or German (weekends). I had staff giving me a terrible room despite me being IHG Diamond. I had staff not resolving complaints properly (defect HVAC unit). Again, I realize this is NOT an upscale, 4-star hotel. Nevertheless, even for a select-service property, service leaves something to be desired. Staff seems really poorly trained. Their room rates tend to be low for Dusseldorf average rates. But I am still contemplating whether to give them another chance.

Room was ok, friendly staff in all areas. Some lamps without bulbs, bathroom could have been cleaner. Breakfast buffet was a pure disaster. Very disorganized, confusing and far too few coffee machines for the number of guests. (2) Drinks warm (juices, milk), scrambled eggs only scurried through the damper for a short time, rolls were like rubber, fresh salads - none, no seat in the dining room, ..... But, enough choice!

One of my two favorite hotels in Dusseldorf, it will be given priority every time I go to Dusseldorf. There is a supermarket near this hotel, so you can go shopping if you have nothing to do. 😁The downside is that the parking lot near this hotel is a bit expensive.
