The hotel was very close to Termini station
Only take 20 mins to Vatican or 30 mins to airport
Very convenience.
Got a upgrade to a bigger room.
Room service was not bad.
The breakfast was okay , $10 Euro , but food was same everyday. So can try couple days.
Becoz it was May so there are still no A/C. But the room was windy and comfortable.FromSGD 57

Just a road down from Roma Trastevere station, it is a two-block hostel. Many common areas for you to hang out and relax with a kitchen, ping pong table, laundry room, and fussball table.
The biggest standout for me would be the clean and spacious bathrooms. Also, it’s walkable to the station which gets you around the city.FromSGD 31

This was such an amazing find!
From the friendliness of the staff, to cleanliness of the rooms and the brilliant location - most things were in walking distance and it's close to a metro line.
I was here from 29th Dec '24 - 3rd Jan '25.
I was initially really sceptical about staying in a hostel... However, to my complete surprise, it was the best decision ever. The staff really made us all feel at home!
The bathrooms are cleaned daily. If you want to use a towel, they are available for rent. The beds and drawers are both lockable, and the room I stayed in was a 3 bed female room, which was also locked.
On New Years Eve, we were all invited to join in for a special meal. For a low cost, we were served a 3 course home cooked meal! It was absolutely delicious! The diverse group around the table were amazing. We all shared our travel stories and then went off to watch the fireworks at midnight at the colosseum (which is only a 20min walk away).
Everyone was super friendly, and I would absolutely recommend Free Hostels Roma to anyone travelling through or alone. What a great way to meet like-minded people!FromSGD 52

Fantastic hotel, perfect location (very close to the trams, but not close enough to hear them) it was quiet nights, the aircon worked great and we really loved the classical feeling of the room. The staff spoke good English and where very helpful, I called prior to arriving as I read online about driving permits in Rome and the hotel staff where able to advise me.
For the price I would choose this hotel again in the future.FromSGD 69
