I stayed for one night here before a flight to the US. The deluxe double room was spacious ,modern appointed and pretty new. The bed was very comfortable. I would have given this hotel 5 stars but unfortunately I was first put in a room where the toilet had not been cleaned yet with stains on the commode. I was quickly changed to another room. You could not individually change the room temperature yourself but had to ask the front desk to cool the room. That really seems very odd to me. A guest should be able to do so by herself. I also noticed many dirty dishes in front of rooms upon checking into my room. I feel a hotel in this category should have staff check hallways regularly to remove dirty dishes out of hallways. If I need to travel again out of Berlin I will give the hotel another try as it is very central to the airport and overall very nice.

The hotel has a shuttle bus to the airport for seven minutes and every half hour. The hotel is super clean, the environment is very good, and the price is not expensive. There is a bar and breakfast in the hotel, but we walked earlier, so we didn't eat. Very convenient and clean hotel, we have a sofa bed in our room, three people do not have to book two rooms.

The location of the hotel is too remote. Although it says that it is 1.8 kilometers away from the airport in a straight line, it is actually 4.6 kilometers away. There is no bus after 10 o'clock in the evening, which is very inconvenient. It is highly recommended not to book this hotel for late arrivals. A taxi from the airport to the hotel costs 17 Euros.

After a delayed flight I arrived at around 11:30 in the evening. So after a gruelling trip it was a delight to be met by such a cheerful guy on reception. I saw somebody previously commented something similar. So whoever was on night shift on 13th September, they deserve a raise. Afraid I didn't get his name, but he was also very pleasant with a mother and new born baby who were getting checked in before me. As for the stay, it was pleasant. Nice, clean room and quiet. Comfortable bed. The only things I could criticise are minor. Firstly the shower door opens easily both ways, so if you push it too far when getting in or out you will end up with a wet floor. Also it took a very long time in the morning to get a taxi. only one was available so I had to share with another hotel guest. I was fine with this, as was he, but I imagine many people would not be keen on having to do this. It might be worth the hotel considering setting up a deal with a local taxi firm to improve this. None of these issues are enough to make me want to downgrade the rating and you have to appreciate this is a new hotel that will be learning all.the time while being dependent on good reviews. I would definitely stay here again.
