Inside Dayan Ancient Town Lijiang|2.24km from downtown
Location was great: Within Lijiang Ancient City and just a 5-min walk to the main road. Stayed during winter season and was glad to know that hot water was consistent. Room was cleaned up daily in the 4 days we stayed there to explore Lijiang and the surrounding areas. Breakfast provided was hearty with a good variety. Reception area is also conveniently located beside a cafe so you can also enjoy a cuppa over breakfast.
Shoutout to the staff who were friendly and responded to our queries in a timely manner. They also helped to link us up to a local tour agency that helped us out with a Jade Dragon Snow Mountain day-trip which we thoroughly enjoyed. This was despite us not having a local Chinese number and only having WeChat as the only communication tool.
All in all, really enjoyed our stay here at Songzhuju (松竹居) and will recommend it to my friends and family who are looking to explore Lijiang.FromSGD 55

The lady at the inn was so considerate. She arranged for the driver to pick us up at the door of the inn after we got off the plane. The location is very convenient. The sound insulation effect of the inn on Sifang Street where we stayed last time was so bad that I couldn't sleep all night. Their inn has improved the sound insulation This is very good. The boss lady arranged for us to go to Lashihai until we woke up naturally. We didn’t have enough time to go to Shangri-La the next day and originally wanted to go to Jade Dragon Snow Mountain. We had a lovely and amazing stay at Nilv. The staff and boss were very friendly and approachable. The boss gave helpful recommendations on where to visit and what to eat around there. The lady staff even informed us that if we were first time in such cold and dry weather conditions we need to hydrate ourselves as our nose could bleed. Such warmth touched us ♥️
As for the facilities, we loved the aesthetically designed surroundings. The room is clean and spacious. The bed is comfortable, and the toilet is perfect for us as it comes with a toilet bowl that has a seat warmer and bidet system. This is especially helpful in such a cold weather 👍
The location is near Zhongyi Market place and you don't have to worry about having nothing to eat. However, there's one thing to inform those travellers who want to stay within Lijiang ancient city, and that's the taxis and private hires aren't allowed inside, so it's best to find an accom that's near the perimeter so you don't drag your luggage over long distances, or have the hotel arrange a small vehicle to pick you up at the main road.

Good location only 3 minutes walk to Lijiang bus station and 1 km away from the old town, very helpful staff contacting via the WeChat. The free upgraded room I got at the first day was great but the room I booked on the last day was closed to the wooden stairs so it quite noisy all night till the early morning. They also provided a small group day tour to Jade dragon snow mountain and Blue Moon valley, the driver can’t speak English but he and the hotel’s owner help me a lot.FromSGD 15
