The hotel has a dedicated passage on the 3rd floor of the airport. It is very convenient to choose a flight in the morning. We arrived at the airport at 9:30 in the evening after playing at Jasper and returned to the hotel within a few minutes. We flew yellow the next morning. The knife is very convenient. The service at the front desk was superb, and the check-in experience was good. Although there was no noise next to the airport, I was curious to study the windows. I do n’t know if there is such technology in China. The sound insulation is very good. There is Starbucks.FromS$243

We make trips to Edmonton once or twice a year to visit friends, do some shopping and just to take a weekend break. Based on many positive reviews, we booked this location instead of our usual options across the highway. We're mid-tier travellers, 2.5 - 3.5 stars our sweet spot. I wavered between a 3 and 4 circle rating for the Fairfield. It should warrant a four, but several issues reduced the score. We would consider giving this property a second chance, just in case our experience was an aberration. The hotel was clean both in the public areas and room. Front desk personnel were friendly and helpful. The hotel is good value, as is the case with several hotels in the area. Despite being close to the airport, we were never bothered by either interior or exterior noise. The Smart-tv with Netflix is a nice touch. The bed was comfortable with two types of pillows. Checkout was quick. We didn't use the small pool or exercise room, which did seem reasonably equipped. There were several downsides. Our room was not serviced once during our three nights. We needed to ask for face clothes twice and towels once. When both small trash cans filled, we removed the bags and needed to deposit trash directly into the bins. We went down stairs for coffee when the cups in the room weren't replenished. Parking was a challenge. There appeared to be quite a number of park and fly vehicles in the lot. We were able to find a spot all three days but it was tight. Many guests were using laneways. Breakfast was fine, with limited options but served at odd hours. This is a 2.5 star property so we weren't expecting too much. Cereal, eggs, toast etc. and precooked sausage patties, bacon on the third morning. Perfectly adequate but basic. The coffee was decent. No need to run to Tims. The first morning, we came later than our usual, around 8:30, and found lineups and no tables. Some guests were forced to take food to their rooms. The next two days we entered before 8:00 with no issues. The restaurant, which we didn't use, has very limited food options. There are a few fast food places a short drive away (nothing walkable, at least in winter) but anything more substantial is across the highway. If this were a single night stay prior to a flight, this might serve well. For a longer stay, other options in the area may be better choices.FromS$148

This is the second star’s inn location I stayed at and I am so impressed by how clean this chain keeps their rooms and property. I got a king room which was a nice size and had a comfortable bed. My room over looked QE2 which was unfortunate because there was a lot of road noise. If you come here and they give you a room ending in 30,32,34,36 ask for a different one they all over look QE2. I’m sure they will give you a different one. I’m deaf in one ear so I could put my good ear in the pillow and block the noise but when rolled over I sure could hear it. The staff was very nice, friendly and helpful. I booked for 3 nights and ended up extending for 5 nights as my job went longer than originally planed. I come during covid and the pool, gym and morning breakfast were closed. Breakfast options were coffee, muffins and granola bars. But the price reflects the lack of amenities. FromS$75

I stay at hotels over 300 nights a year for business. I really noticed a difference when I entered the building. The staff was very pleasant and professional. My room was spotless, and I didn't need to go looking or asking for anything. If I did need anything, there was no doubt in my mind that the staff would have gone over and above .Their house keeping team deserve gold medals, as well as their desk clerks.
