We stayed at Praety home stay when we were visiting Ubud to go to yoga barn & the Monkey forest. (It’s an easy walk to Yoga barn but not so close to the monkey forest). We didn’t expect a lot as the price we paid was so low, however the family were friendly & accommodating & we had a lovely stay! The rooms were kept clean & well maintained & the property had a traditional Balinese vibe which was lovely. The breakfast was free & also really really good! The coconut & banana crepe was amazing! I ended up having it every day once I’d tried it & I don’t tend to like sweet things for breakfast or have the same thing repeatedly but it really was that good! We’d love to come back here when we’re next in Bali!

I stayed in a standard room with a porch. Every morning, a talking bird by the name of 'Boss' would be up early, exercising its voice box. Cicadas were also actively making high pitch sounds as i believed they must be hoping to attract partners. It was a comfortable stay away from the hustle and bustle, with peaceful sleep every night, apart from the occasional meowing. The friendly people running the guesthouse were helpful and addressed my needs whenever i asked them. Convenient place to get around other places. Notes: (1) you might wonder where yuliati house is as it is not obvious from the front of the house. Simply walk down the walkway/ driveway, bypass some houses and you'll reach Yuliati House, which is situated at the end (refer to images). (2) the bedside lamp is so much brighter than the room light. To light up your room at night, you can just turn on the table lamp.

We stayed at Artha Devata for several nights. This place is quite peaceful, although it's located in the center of Ubud, surrounded by the coolest cafes with delicious food. The rooms here are simple but have everything you need: friendly staff, cleanliness, coffee, tea, water, kettle. We thank Artha Devata for the affordable prices and convenient location.

The hotel is very cheap, plus tax is basically 100 yuan per day, including 2 breakfasts. The breakfast choices are delicious. The breakfast is made with care and the quality is excellent. Daily breakfast has staple food, Ubud, Bali, Bali, there are fruits and drinks Coffee, juice or tea. The service staff will wait for you at the door from 7:30 to 10 in the morning. The service attitude is very good. If you don’t speak English, you can use Youdao translator to translate it. The room is very large, We live in a room without TV. In the morning, there are chickens and birds, which is very rustic. There is air conditioning and shower. The shower faucet is a bit problem. Adjust the water temperature before taking a bath. Otherwise it will be hot and cold. The toilet smells but it is OK Spray the air freshener. In short, you can live here if you want to feel the local folk customs, and the surrounding food is not expensive.. It is a 15-minute walk from the Ubud Palace to the Ubud Palace, passing by the Ubud market, and walking in the Sacred Monkey Park 16 minutes, 23 minutes walk from Amma Museum, it is very convenient to go everywhere. My husband and I are going to live for a week. I will choose his house when I have the opportunity to come to Bali in the future. It is recommended.

I was here in 2019 back again now. So glad to be back. Hasn't changed a bit, except it is even more ridiculous value than ever ! Super comfy, clean, roomy, close to absolutely everything, central Ubud. Super friendly Staff, rooms serviced/cleaned daily. Breakfast included in the price. What more could you possibly ask for ? For me though, apart from everything else and the ridiculous value It's being so close to everything central, but it's so peaceful, walking out onto your terrace, you are basically overlooking the a small slice of Jungle. 'Listen to the river below'. Mad if you don't stay here.

This hotel is so lovely, it's off a busy road but is completely relaxed inside and feels like you are in the jungle. The room is really nicely decorated, the bed was comfy. They provide slippers, dressing gown and tea/coffee making facilities. The balcony, room and bathroom are spacious. Generally it's clean but it seems like it could all do with a deep clean - the bathtub had likely seen better days...! It's about a 10 minute walk from Yoga Barn which was why I picked it and about a 20 minute walk from the main *****/palace. There are nice restaurants just outside. Breakfast was soo good! And they didn't tell me to come back when on one morning, I turned up 15 mins before breakfast officially started which I appreciated. My only downside to staying here was that on an outdated brochure they sent me before I stayed, it says that a one way airport trip is included in my room rate, which when I asked about, they back tracked from. They should update their marketing and they should have honoured what they had said to me. But overall, staying here enhanced my good experience of Ubud.

Friendly greetings at all times, we had the pool access room. The bed was one of the best we've slept in. The shower over the bath wasn't our cup of tea. The room was clean but the bed facing tv didn't work. Once off the main road it was quiet but the night club next door roared to life at midnight. . The breakfast was sensational and varied slightly each day. After hours meals and room service was very accommodating. The fridge was not the greatest in keeping thing chilled but adequate. The pool (the longest I've seen) with a hidden waterslide was lovely and views from the top pool and deck was special

Beautiful hotel. The building, gardens, ocean view, swimming pools, foods and everything. Perfect. I love the main gate they have. Perfect spot for taking pic. The front desk senior staff helped us. More training needed for junior staff. Try to eat in tamarind and order their risotto with scallop. Yummy.

The villa is not well prepared for my family staycation. We had broken tv, bathroom electricity black out at one of the room. Super slow internet even just to watch the Netflix. Not recommended for digital nomad out there. Living room quite dusty and got kinda moldy roof smell when we turn on the fan. Really need to improve the service quality especially for local guest.

Staff is really friendly and respectful. The location is in the main road so you won't be able to enjoy anything in a walking distance however all beaches are 5km away from the location. You can enjoy by renting a scooter from nearby areas. I enjoyed dining at the hotel, they have local and western cuisines. Swimming pool may cost you extra buck if you want to swim. I stay with Aston properties before and I enjoy their service, so I would recommend this hotel to anyone who is looking for affordable yet good service hotels in Bali.

1. The aircon was very loud and noisy . Informed staff and they sent a workman to fix it the next day . It made no difference. They offered to send someone in the following day but i felt it was becoming an invasion of privacy so declined 2. Mosquitoes in the room . I recommend nets over the bed as i was a feast for them overnight . The staff offered fly spray but i didnt want to inhale the toxic staff while there. I checked out a night early as i didnt feel this to be a relaxing experience. The hotel is reasonably priced though and the grounds and architecture pleasant otherwise

Great location, stones throw from the beach. Room was nice and spacious, didn’t miss a balcony. Breakfast wasn’t as good as expected, the milk & smoothies were left out, we tried a smoothie and it had go sour. Would book again it hasn’t put me off. The pool on the roof is definitely its best feature. And the restaurant choice on an evening on the beach is something completely different and special.

It’s the perfect place if you have an early flight - with the most comfortable bed!! Everything is nice and clean and the people are amazingly friendly. I loved how helpful and kind they all were. It’s not at the best location, as Bali has tooo many other beautiful beaches and this hotel is not situated at one of those beautiful beaches. Other than that, I can’t complain at all. I had a great evening there with an early morning flight. The hotel shuttle to the airport was free and they packed a lovely breakfast for me to take to the airport since I left too early to get breakfast at the hotel.

What an incredible stay at Holiday Inn Resort Nusa Dua! The service provided was impeccable, starting off with an upgrade to an ocean view room when our pool view room was undergoing maintenance upon our arrival, followed by complimentary fruit and chocolates as another apology, along with a chocolate cake and bed decorations for our anniversary. All staff members were so friendly, helpful and approachable throughout the whole week of our stay. Also nice to see that feedback forms are actually acknowledged and acted upon very promptly (unlike other places) as we made a simple suggestion for the breakfast to include avocado and hollandaise sauce and the next two days staff members offered us specially cooked eggs benedict with avocado. Cannot fault a single thing about our experience and without a doubt will be back to stay in the future! Special mention to duty manager Geksa who frequently checked in with us and went above and beyond to make our stay so enjoyable!

Movenpick is a beautiful hotel and was our final stop on our two-week stay between Bali and Lombok. We were initially booked into the wrong room (twin, not double) but this was sorted immediately. Good selection at the breakfast buffet but I do think the hotel is missing a trick by not cooking fresh crepes for guests. All the little touches made the stay great. We were a bit let down that service was slow and it was a struggle to find two sun loungers, even when we were up early. For guests staying in the hotel after check out before getting picked up, the hotel provides a room to shower in. This can be booked at reception and is cleaned between uses. All in all, a lovely stay.
