|1.32km from Tung Chung StationFacilities: Disposable toiletries are provided, along with complimentary canned mineral water. The two universal power adapters in the room were also a very thoughtful touch. My only minor issue was that the shower and toilet in the bathroom were placed a bit too close together, leading me to accidentally bump my foot.
Environment: Our floor featured a communal area with self-service tea and other refreshments. The hotel is conveniently located right by the main road, making it easy to find, yet it was surprisingly quiet. There's also a convenience store right next door, and getting a taxi was never an issue.
Service: I had requested twin beds online and was slightly worried they wouldn't be available due to my late check-in. However, they had indeed reserved them for me. The front desk staff was very friendly and enthusiastically explained all the hotel's amenities.

|5.09km from Tung Chung StationTransportation was extremely convenient. The room was fantastic, and the service was exceptional. I had a bit of trouble with the key card, and a kind staff member from the concierge desk personally came to my room door to show me how. Housekeeping also promptly cleared the trash as I requested, and thoughtfully pushed the two mattresses together to arrange the bedding, which made my child feel much more secure sleeping. The views were incredible!

|7.73km from Tung Chung StationWe arrived late, maybe 11.30pm, but were greeted warmly and checked in smoothly. The room was small but the bed was comfortable and the environment peaceful. Shower was hot and worked well, all towels and linen were clean, toilet was clean, and the room itself clean enough. It looked like it must have been a child's bedroom once because there were glow-in-the-dark decals of planets stuck on the walls and ceiling. This room is fine if you are traveling on a budget and need somewhere to sleep and keep your things while you explore Hong Kong, location is away from the centre but metro a short walk that will take you straight to Central Station. Was a bit difficult to find down a back street.

|4.67km from Tung Chung StationRoom is small compared to other hotels in china. But it is not a problem if you are in 2 people. The room was clean. The bed was comfortable. They don't offer water in the room. The restroom is ok. The only point is the size of the part to have shower that is also small. The hotel is in front of a metro station and it helped a lot. I recommend this hotel.

|0.72km from Tung Chung StationThis is a women-only hotel, run by a compassionate organization that assists marginalized women from religious communities with job placement and retirement planning.
Facilities: The facilities were comprehensive, and I was pleasantly surprised to find disposable toothbrushes and toothpaste provided – a rare amenity in Hong Kong.
Cleanliness: Spotless.
Environment: Both the hotel and its surroundings were serene and tranquil. The view from the open window was beautiful.
Service: My interaction with the staff was limited, so I can't comment much on the service. My only minor quibble is the HK$12 price for a bottle of in-room water, which felt a bit steep. On the positive side, the 12:00 PM check-out time on the following day was very convenient.

|2.41km from Tung Chung StationThe place was decent. We were on the 14th floor, and at first it was a bit tricky to find—we just tried going up since we couldn’t reach the numbers we were given. A sign on the ground floor would definitely help.
It’s basically one big flat divided into three rooms. We shared the unit with other guests (separate rooms), but we could hear some noise. The family next door had a baby, and for two nights we heard crying in the middle of the night.
The bed wasn’t that comfortable—the mattress was thin, and the frame seemed like two tables put together. The staff cleaned the room only on the first and last night.
On the plus side, they had enough supplies in the corridor like towels, toothpaste, and tissue, and there was also a water dispenser, which was handy.

Highly recommended.

If you're someone especially solo traveler who travels in budget and just needs a place to sleep, i recommended this hotel. The location is in the center of the city, busses and subway easily accessible on foot, the hotel is on the 3rd floor and lift available. There are plenty of restaurants on the ground floor, and the convenience store is within walking distance.

|1.59km from Tung Chung StationWeekend hotel prices in Hong Kong can be quite steep, but this place truly stands out as an excellent option within its price range. It's conveniently located right next to Jordan MTR station. The rooms are fairly clean, and the front desk staff were very welcoming. If you're wondering where to stay in Hong Kong on a weekend or public holiday and have a limited budget, this hotel is definitely worth considering. The two photos below were both taken from my room, which offered a fantastic view.

|1.54km from Tung Chung StationI'm a solo female traveler. The room is super small, but fantastic for the price and location. The entrance is right next to the metro stairs, so no wandering around searching and getting tired. You just have to take the lift on the right hand. The staff (female) were incredibly helpful — messaging me clear directions, providing all the information from booking onward, and being so accommodating. The room amenities were fully equipped. The only downside was the entrance, which felt a bit scary imp. And the floor/layout is just like the photo.

Room is comfortable and clean, air con is powerful and cold. There’s also a small safe to keep our things locked away.
The only small issue is there’s no fridge.
The housekeeper on our floor was very friendly and diligent in the turnover service. We are delighted with our stay.
It was nice there was a mini gym and pool to use within the facility.

|0.29km from Tung Chung StationThe service is quite good. One of the workers speaks good English. I was having trouble with my SIM card (I picked up the wrong one,) so she took me across the street to a shop that has them for cheap.
The room's small, but, again, it's a guest house, and it's H.K. If you want something bigger, you're going to pay.
The only thing that bothers me (and it's not exclusive to this guest house) is the noise from the other guests. A lot of guests are completely clueless and play their music / have loud conversations right outside of the room. Mei Wah should put up some ”Please be quiet” signs in Mandarin and English, but the guests are probably too ignorant or apathetic to care.

|2.67km from Tung Chung StationBecause my child loves the Harbour City and Star Ferry Pier area, we've stayed at one of the three Marco Polo properties every year. My favorite is Marco Polo Hong Kong – it's classic yet comfortable, and its lounge is better than the Gateway's. Last summer, during our stay, I experienced unprofessional and discriminatory treatment from the front desk staff and was given a low-floor sea view room facing a car park. Consequently, I left an honest negative review on Ctrip. This year upon check-in, it truly felt like the hotel had taken the Ctrip feedback to heart. They must have given specific instructions to both the front desk and lounge staff, as we felt exceptionally well looked after overall. The two gentlemen in the lounge, in particular, were incredibly kind, sincere, and attentive. The gentleman from the concierge who escorted us to the executive floor, who I believe is the head of concierge, was also very dedicated and conscientious. Just before taking us upstairs, he even saw an elderly person at the main entrance needing help and immediately directed staff to assist. Overall, I noticed the hotel has implemented some cost-saving measures; for instance, the executive floor toiletries are no longer single-use. However, I fully support and embrace all eco-friendly and waste-reducing initiatives. While the food range in the lounge has been slightly reduced, the quality remains consistently high. There also seem to have been some significant staff changes; the previous expatriate manager in the lounge is no longer present, and the front desk staff are much more approachable, not exhibiting the aloofness sometimes perceived from local staff before. Every single staff member, from top to bottom, now seems very down-to-earth, diligent, and dedicated – which is excellent. With such effective management, I wish them continued prosperity in Hong Kong's highly competitive hotel industry.

|2.26km from Tung Chung StationI booked 5 days in advance and specifically requested a twin room in my reservation notes. Upon arrival, the front desk informed us that twin rooms typically require at least a week's advance booking. They offered a complimentary upgrade to an 1.8-meter king-size bed. Ultimately, we opted to pay an additional 500+ per night to upgrade to a suite, which included an extra bed in the living room and complimentary children's breakfast. The hotel is conveniently located directly above Harbour City mall. It's approximately a 10-minute walk from West Kowloon High-Speed Rail Station, and both Austin and Tsim Sha Tsui MTR stations are also about a 10-minute walk away.

|2.4km from Tung Chung StationHaving stayed here before in July, I was impressed by how new and spacious the room was, which led me to book this hotel again for August. However, this time, the room I was assigned on the 5th floor, facing Canton Road, was significantly smaller. What was particularly disappointing was the extremely worn-out bedding. The sheets, pillowcases, towels, and bath towels felt older, thinner, and rougher than what you'd find in a basic budget hotel like a 7 Days Inn on the mainland. This made for a very uncomfortable stay.

|0.85km from Tung Chung StationI feel extremely lucky to have found this little gem in Hong Kong. The dorms are extremely well laid out, with plenty of space for the suitcase and personal belongings. The bedrooms and bathrooms are sparkling clean, the common areas are cosy, there's everything you need in terms of kitchen utensils, the water pressure in the showers is amazing, the rooftop is a really place to hang out in the evenings, and most of all, the host Patricia makes you feel at home. I got there solo, and after a few nights I'm leaving with a bunch of friends. This place certainly has a magical power 😊

|2.39km from Tung Chung StationAs a frequent traveler to Hong Kong, I’d say this hostel is my top favorite as of the moment and we’re already planning to book again for our next year travel back to HK. Location-wise, it’s the best. Walking distance to the harbour, nearby malls like Silvercord, K11 Art Mall, Mira Mall, and Harbour City, surrounded by restaurants and fast food chains, a grocery in front, and two MTR exits (A1 with lift and escalators going up and down, and A2 with escalator going up and stairs). It is also few blocks away from Bakehouse (😆). In terms of room size for 3 pax, it’s livable and pretty spacious as compared to our room on the 9th floor last year 🤭 from the same building. We have 5 luggages - 2 carry ons and three medium check-in luggages, and yet there’s still space for the mini table and chair and we still have space to move inside the room. I love their big glass windows which give us the best view of Nathan Road. They also offer water refilling dispenser which is a big saver because bottled waters in HK are pretty expensive! Stayed here for 6 nights and got new towels everyday after the room has been cleaned, and bottled water replenishes. Rooms are clean and looks the same as advertised in the pictures. Only cons I would say is that the shower area doesn’t have a door or divider so water splashes everywhere and floor gets flooded, but still tolerable. I would also like to suggest having a microwave for food reheating. 😁 aside from that, everything you need is here. In terms of room rates, price is okay and expected for HK standard; still cheaper than booking a hotel room from known hotels in this location which would also require security deposit. As for this hostel, no need for security deposit. Thanks to Trip.com and was able to get an early bird rate for this room. For security concerns, the building has security personnels when you enter, CCTVs are working in elevators and specific areas, hostel floor is secured with passcode which can only be opened with guest keycards. Room security doors are also up-to-date or modern. I love it!! Kudos also to Filipina housekeepers for being so approachable, helpful and kind to us during our stay. While the boss is very hands on in reaching out in WeChat for any concerns and also provided guide around the area and tourist attractions. SUPER RECOMMENDED!!! Loved and enjoyed our stay. We already miss the view. See you again next year! 🩷

|Flat 1205, 12/F Sincere House, 83 Argyle Street, Mong KokI booked a double suite here a week ago. It was my first time in Hong Kong, and I assumed Mong Kok would be relatively unsafe. After reading numerous reviews of B&Bs, I felt even more apprehensive. So, I decided to stay for one night and then extend my stay if the environment was good. Arriving in Mong Kok, I was unfamiliar with the area, so I got lost for a while. Once I found my way, I discovered there were two entrances, one closed after 11 PM. There were also two elevators at each entrance, one for odd and one for even numbers. Upon check-in, the host was very welcoming. Perhaps because the double room was full or something else, they gave us a triple room with a window at no extra charge. The door had a combination lock, and the room was spotless, with spotless floors and immaculately white walls. There was no clutter on the bed, and the quilt was neatly folded. The bathroom was also spotless, with no odors or debris. It was a bit cramped, and the toilet had a long, lingering clatter after flushing, which I hope could be improved. There was also a small TV in the room, but the channel selection was a bit limited. The room also provided hangers, slippers, shampoo, and shower gel, but you had to bring your own toothpaste. Seeing this, I decided to renew my lease the next day. To my surprise, the double room seemed to be sold out. The landlord then asked me what I had paid for the room. Before I could find my bill, the landlord had already extended my stay for another night at 350 RMB, which was 2 RMB lower than the price on the platform! Overall, I personally felt the room was better than the promotional photos, exceeding my expectations. The landlord's service attitude also made me sincerely decide to write a positive review for her. 👍 I will definitely choose this B&B again next time.

|0.22km from Tung Chung StationA hotel with a very good value for money (after all, it is in Hong Kong, where every inch of land is worth a lot of money). It is very close to the Mong Kok subway station. It is not difficult to find it if you follow the navigation. It is inside the Ronghua Building. It is easy to find it by following the instructions.
Facilities: The size of the room is very suitable according to my budget and the prices in Hong Kong, and it is almost the same as expected. The equipment is quite complete, with a separate bathroom (for a room of this price, and in Mong Kok, Hong Kong, where every inch of land is worth a lot of money, I can only say that I am very satisfied)
Hygiene: Clean and comfortable. Anyway, according to my budget, I personally think it is reasonable
Environment: It is quite quiet. In a busy city like Mong Kok, it will not be affected by the streets at all.
Service: Polite and careful. When taking me to the booked room, they will carefully tell me some things to pay attention to.
In general, when traveling out, according to your own budget and the prices of tourist destinations, etc., the value for money is super high!

|2.05km from Tung Chung StationIf you have specific requirements regarding location, I definitely recommend it. However, for the area around the downstairs bar street, I think for women, a group of about 4 to 5 people can consider. But if there are fewer than that, it's not highly recommended because some of the bar staff there are a bit impolite and tend to obstruct women's paths.
