The breakfast was good, the fried chicken was very delicious, the curry with nasi lemak was great, but there were not many kinds of vegetables and fruits. The parking lot is free, but there are not many cars, the service is very good, check in and check out have parking handles to help carry your luggage and then take you from the room to your parking location. Without TV, the telephone signal and network signal are not very good. The forest is here to cut off from the world.

I know this hotel from the travel notes: the restaurant with the most beautiful angle of the flag mountain, so I want to live. Only 9-10 rooms, so it is quite tense, not full house on weekends. The price is not expensive, only the price of more than 300 yuan has been booked. Let me talk about the advantages: The environment is very good, the scenery is beautiful, no matter how many lights are seen at night, it is very beautiful to watch the sunrise in the morning. The service is very good, whether it is the beautiful Malay girl at the front desk or the uncle who helps us with the luggage. The next day, the breakfast should be the boss and will come and say hello. The breakfast is rich and the taste is good. The stir fry at the entrance of the hotel is very delicious. It is said that the first place in Penang is not covered. I think it is the best fried stir fry I have ever eaten (mainly like the chicken skin inside, there is a feeling of lard) In the evening and in the morning, I read the book quietly in the room, looking at the sky and the leaves outside the window. (If you can pick up a monkey or a squirrel, it’s perfect, but when you go down the mountain, you meet the monkey group.) Although there is no air conditioning, there is a fan and it is very comfortable to open the window (we are on the second floor). Let me talk about the disadvantages: We are driving, and then found that we can not drive, contact the hotel, only know that we need to pay a round trip MYR 120 (or RM 160 if not through the hotel), if not for self-driving guests, it is estimated to carry luggage Take the little train. However, the fare of 120 is not expensive, because the original flag mountain is also the ticket and the small train fee, and the mountain road is very difficult to open, not the people here, should not be able to open. It was a very bad experience to check in here. First day when check in my room, the cleaning was too bad as picture I provide 1-7.used face mask hang at the cabinet,used face mask on top of the cabinet, tower at floor, tissue at floor,stain in the cup.unknow stain in the toilet, blood on the pillow case, snack at the floor. when staff come over the room also can't accept this happen. Very appreciate night shift staff help me to change another room for one night.(this was my room) Picture 8 is my fren room, tissue and sugar paper hidden beside bed.and the room full of u know smell. But my fren was not change the room, just ask tomorrow must come to do cleaning. 2nd day morning me move back to previous room..my room is ok, but my fren room been ask to do cleaning, cleaner report done cleaning.. But even we go out for half day and back to hotel..their never do any cleaning to my fren room. The tissue and sugar paper are still there...we do complain again.and staff change another 2 room to us immediately. OK fine, change the room again.. But my room toilet tower was totally wet as picture 9... I really don't know what to said... We pay 4days 3 night almost 520 per person... But we get this experience.. Do hope deview management can really double check the room was clean and tidy before let customer live in and make sure the cleaner do well all their job since now are still pendemic covid 19... Anyway, their staff was very helpful and appreciated for their good attitude and friendly attention.

The cost to benefit ratio is fantastic. Large room... we got the king bed. Location is 5 minute walk to the national park and across the street is the bus stop to Batu Ferringhi and Georgetown every 15 minutes. Morning market we could have breakfast for both of us for under $2 USD. This is definitely not 5 star but for what you get and what you pay is definitely more than worth it. For the negative reviews people need to understand that this is a great BUDGET hotel with a good air con. The wifi was a little bit of spotty. We paid 3X the amount for a highly rated accommodation in Georgetown and we actually preferred this more. Once you get to know the owner he is a very kind and caring man too.

This is by far my most favourite hotel in Penang Island.. Been here for 4-5 times already & still can’t get enough. Even its a bit far away from city centre, we still enjoy the privacy & tranquility this hotel offers. Only 4km from Batu Feringghi. Rooms are super clean, amenities are good, love the smell of the rooms once arrived. Smells like in a spa! Great for honeymoon for sure & family with kids bcos they have kids club & kids pool with water slide! Breakfast spread is good, beach is good, the ambience is priceless. Parking is complimentary. Will definitely come again!

Location : The location is strategic as it's close to Penang International Airport, it's approximately 5 minutes drive from the airport. Highlights : The valet parking at the hotel is MYR20 per entry. Anyway, you can park at 2nd floor to 6th floor for free of charge, but it's kind of too slope to drive up the hill (car park). The buffet breakfast is okay. It's located on the M floor. Facilities: The small size swimming pool is inside the hotel room, the size is suitable for kids. This was our 1st time at Amari Spice but from the on set was a bad experience. Driving into the hotel I could not drive to the lobby entrance to drop my family & luggage as it was blocked for some reason best known to Amari. Security at the entrance was of no help & I ended up blocking the way of a car at the back. What was supposed to be destress trip, started off on bad note. Anyway cursing Amari Spice for being worst than a 1 star hotel, I reversed back into the lobby entrance. Told this bad experience while checking in to the front office staff but they were not bothered  Going to the room found the mattress to be too soft sinking when you lay down & the air cond temp tops up at 26.5 degress, not everyone likes the room super cold. These 2 shortcomings are something that you wld not find in a 4 or 5 star hotels but looks like Amari is still figuring out where they stand. Even many 3 star hotels are better. Moving to the shower both rain & hand shower water flow was dispointing at best with temperature regulation being a challenge. Since my home is at Bukit Jambu & the main reason of chosing Amari was to destress, which was not possible with the said room conditions, I had to leave my family both nights to head home to rest. The matteress, shower & air cond at home the best. Wondering how Amari claims to be home away from home. On a good note the staff were courteous & friendly. Inclosing would I stay at Amari Spice again. NO.

This must be the most pleasant hotel quarantine i have done so far. I have a room with a balcony that overlooks the sea on one side and the hills on the other. Last night i watched the sun set, and this morning i did my exercises in thesea breeze, and could see the birds flying around in the trees. A special thank you to the hotel reservation team - Hasrol has been so helpful. He made sure i got the rooms i requested (we are a family group, so wanted adjoining rooms as well), kept us updated as the quarantine procedures kept changing, and made sure we had the documents we needed for smooth clearance through the airport on arrival. What a difference it makes to have professional and caring staff, especially when attempting travel during the Covid pandemic.

HIGHLY recommended hotel for cleanliness, location and value for money. The bed and pillows are so comfortable! The best part of the hotel is their staff. Look for Mr Zaid. He is a gracious and wonderful host! I arrived to have a look at the rooms a week before check in and Mr Zaid graciously showed us a few rooms. On the day of check in, my friend’s credit card was declined but Mr Zaid allowed us to check in anyway and said we could pay later. Unbelievable!! He even offered us free parking throughout our stay! Always smiling and really just a pleasant person to meet! When we came back after dinner, we realized the room didn’t have bedroom slippers. I went to front desk to ask and the gentleman there apologized because they have ran out of supplies. However, he didn’t stop there. Instead, he went to look for unoccupied room by room to see if there were any extras. Really above and beyond expectations of a 3-Star hotel. For RM100+ per night, you’ll get a tastefully decorated hotel room with full hotel amenities like TV, toothbrushes, bottled water, coffee, hair dryer. Hot and cold water dispenser, iron and ironing board are available in the common area. At Eureka, you will get the warmth of a homestay and the feel of a hotel. I would totally recommend this hotel to all my friends! Thank you Mr Zaid and team!
