Convenient location in the heart of Hk although building was quite run down and slightly dodgy. Room is small for 3 pax and smelt a bit funky although it was generally clean. Only saw 1 cockroach in 3 days. Might want to bring mosquito repellant. Basic amenities available as well

Pros - Good location. Between MTR Jordan and Yau ma tei in 5 minutes walking. - Small but clean. Good and enough for backpackers. - Hot water for shower worked well. - Landlord was so kind. He can speak English and willing to help. - Universal adapter provided in the room. - Water provided for everyone. Bring your own bottle to fill it. Con - We stayed for 3 nights but they didn't change new towels. Fortunately, we had our own towels. - The building is now under renovation. Workers started working from 9 am so we must close the curtains well. - The elevator seems unwell. No.3 was error when we backed to the building at night. So we took no.2 to Fl 11 and stepped up to Fl 12 where the guesthouse located. Overall, this guesthouse worth the money. Good choice for saving. Just stay, go out and enjoy the trip!

Cute little room with a comfortable bed......however, the room was so bright from light coming through the window, it was impossible to sleep. There are no shutters or curtains to darken the room. Be advised, if you need a dark room to sleep, this is NOT the place.

Located in the core area of Kowloon District, Hong Kong, it is located in the southwest of Yau Tsim Mong District. There are many buildings in the area, mainly commercial buildings. The transportation in the area is very convenient, there are many food markets, and the landlady is very hospitable and polite. The room is very clean and well-organized. It is worth renting a hotel again.

The rooms itself are nice. Comfortable kami. The only downside was the lift and yung appearance nung baba. It's somehow like chungking mansion, iba iba hostel per floor. Nevertheless, we enjoyed our stay. Staffs and owner are very nice. Just use google translate bc theyre not good in English. Location is superb! Kayang lakarin pa Mongkok, night market and Shoe street. Likod nya ay Temple street night market. Sa baba may mga bus stop, and walking distance din sa MTR Yau Ma tei.

I recently stayed at this hostel in Hong Kong and while it offered a budget-friendly option, there were some notable things to consider. The room I stayed in was quite small, with two sets of triple bunk beds. On the first night, I found myself on the top bunk, which was uncomfortably close to the ceiling. It was so low that I couldn’t even sit up properly or bend my legs—thankfully, I’m not claustrophobic. The next day, I was able to switch to a different bed as someone left, which was a relief. The bathroom was very compact but functional, and like the rest of the hostel, everything felt quite narrow. It wasn’t the most spacious experience, but it did the job. On the plus side, this hostel is affordable, and its location is perfect for exploring Hong Kong, being centrally located with easy access to key attractions. Overall, while it may not be the most comfortable place to stay, it’s definitely one of the cheapest options in a prime area.

Take the elevator to the 13th floor to check in. The owner of the accommodation is lovely and impressive. He gave us a free bottle of drinking water each and took us down to the 4th floor room. There are complete facilities and a plug adapter. The service is good. The room is clean. They clean and change towels every day. It is very convenient to travel. If I have a chance, I will stay again.

So we came as a family and at first I thought we only had three beds for four people booked. To my surprise there were four beds in our room, so everyone could sleep on their own. The room was a bit small though for four people with four big luggage bags but it worked out in the end. The bathroom was small but enough. What I didn’t like though was the wet bathroom style, meaning that when you shower, everything gets wet. But from what I’ve seen in other Hong Kong hotels, it’s just the same. It was a bit hard at first to find the stay, but because of someone’s review, we found it pretty quickly. The building itself looked a bit shabby (undergoing renovation) to be honest and made me a bit fearful at first, but it was very quiet and we didn’t meet too many people. What I have to commend though is the owner, a very nice older man, who waited for us since our check in was late. Upon asking he also left us an iron for the duration of our three day stay! Very nice people!

Eaton is really wonderful. The rooms are clean and well thought out. The decor is unique. Location was wonderfully central. Easy to go anywhere and get public transport or get an uber. But the breakfast buffet though, that was definitely one of the highlights. Such a wonderful variety and everything tasted so good! If anything, the only thing I might change is to add a free laundry area for the guests. Would recommend this hotel to anyone.

We arrived late, maybe 11.30pm, but were greeted warmly and checked in smoothly. The room was small but the bed was comfortable and the environment peaceful. Shower was hot and worked well, all towels and linen were clean, toilet was clean, and the room itself clean enough. It looked like it must have been a child's bedroom once because there were glow-in-the-dark decals of planets stuck on the walls and ceiling. This room is fine if you are traveling on a budget and need somewhere to sleep and keep your things while you explore Hong Kong, location is away from the centre but metro a short walk that will take you straight to Central Station. Was a bit difficult to find down a back street.

It's inside a big building, if you walk a bit from the Tsim Sha Station with A1 exit towards the right, near the Rolex Store. It might be a bit harder to find, so I contacted the manager and he helped me find it. It's okay for a 1-2 night stay, it's clean and you can cook your own food and use the washing machine. The bus stop to the airport is just beside the building, so you can directly catch the A21 bus to HK Airport, so it's a plus. The rooms are okay but with no windows, Wifi works!

I recently stayed at YHA Jockey Club Mt. Davis Youth Hostel, and it was an experience worth sharing! If you're looking for a peaceful retreat away from the city's hustle while still being within reach of all the action, this is the place to be. What I Loved: ✅ Breathtaking Views: The hostel is perched on Mt. Davis, offering panoramic views of Victoria Harbour, especially at sunrise and sunset—absolutely stunning! ✅ Affordable & Great Value: Compared to most accommodations in Hong Kong, this hostel offers great value for money, making it a budget-friendly option for travellers. ✅ Tranquil Atmosphere: Unlike hotels in the city centre, this place is surrounded by nature, perfect for those who want a relaxing stay. ✅ Friendly Staff: The hostel staff were welcoming and helpful, providing useful tips on getting around. ✅ Outdoor Common Area: There’s a nice outdoor area where you can sit back, enjoy the fresh air, and take in the views. A Few Things to Note: 🔹 Location & Transport: Since the hostel is located on a hill, getting there requires taking a shuttle bus (provided by the hostel) or a taxi. If you prefer a more adventurous route, a scenic hike up Mt. Davis is an option, of course please do it during the day time. 🔹 Basic Amenities: This is a youth hostel, so don’t expect luxury. The rooms are simple but clean, with basic beds and shared facilities. Bring your own toiletries for added comfort. 🔹 Limited Dining Options: There isn’t a restaurant on-site, so it’s best to bring your own food or plan to eat before heading up. The common kitchen is available for light meal prep. 🔹 WIFI coverage & Speed, the signal in room is very pool, I started a 10 mins YouTube video at night and cannot reach to the end after sun rise. Overall Experience: If you're an adventurer, a backpacker, or someone looking for a quiet escape with fantastic views, I highly recommend this hostel. It may not be for those seeking high-end comforts, but for nature lovers and budget-conscious travellers, it’s a hidden gem on Hong Kong Island! 🌿🏙️ Would I stay here again? Yes! Just be prepared for the location challenge, but once you get there, the views are totally worth it.

The hotel and location were great for nearby shopping with a toddler, but the front-of-house staff were not so friendly. I'm an IHG member, which was part of my decision to stay at the Crowne Plaza, but I was surprised to discover my points would not be awarded to my IHG membership because I didn't book directly with the hotel. The breakfast food quality and service were good, but the restaurant room was too narrow and not easy to walk around during the peak breakfast time.

Got a very cheap room. So assumed it would be small, but it was by ChungKing mansions standards huge. Bathroom was probably the biggest I have seen. Bed was a double bed. There is not much view given you are facing towards an internal light well. Also facilities all worked very well, with hot water on tap anytime you wanted and shower was powerful. Only drawbacks were the facilities looked a little old and I made the mistake of not keeping the extractor fan on in the bathroom on the first night and a smallish creep crawley was waiting for me in the sink the next morning...so keep the extractor fan on and I had no issues for the rest of my two week stay. There was a kitchen and hot water and coffee all provided. Staff friendly and helpful. I could not get the microwave to work on all occasions but other guests did not seem to have the same problem with it? So for the money it was excellent value.

Small but not good room with very central location. Even if it was a ”no window” room (nr 23) there was a small one to an inner shaft so that is quite something in HK terms! Enough space to pack/unpack my single large luggage. Bed felt slightly short (I am 175cm tall) but slept very well. Good attention and service from the reception (with whatsapp contact) and the luggage storage made my outbound travel much easier. I could lock the luggage in the Inn by the reception and pick it up in the afternoon just before leaving for the airport taking bus A22 which departs from Jordan.

Booked a larger room and first night I had a harbor view but the room was a little small. 2nd night I upgraded to a suite and it was huge. Maybe 5 times the size of the first room. Very pleased with that room. Had a kitchen, a full size dining table with seating for 6, bathroom had a bath and a separate shower. The bed size was king size and in a separate room. Lounge seating for 8. This room wasn't offered by trip.com. Executive Lounge was great and had afternoon tea, then free happy hour drinks later. Breakfast also in the exec. Conveniently located. Really luxurious room size for Hong Kong. Rooms’ deco is a bit dated but acceptable. Only thing to complain: breakfast was expensive and not tasty (either way too salty like its herbal soup, or too bland like the other dishes). This is my third time staying here. I think the biggest advantage here is that the location is really convenient. It is very convenient for shopping and dining downstairs. After all, when deciding where to go in Hong Kong, the geographical location is really the primary consideration. It should be noted that before checking in or after arriving at the hotel, you can add the customer service WeChat and follow the instructions to check in and check out quickly. You can also store your luggage for free, but if you want hot water, try to avoid taking a shower during the peak hours in the evening. The price/performance ratio is very high, recommended!

I feel extremely lucky to have found this little gem in Hong Kong. The dorms are extremely well laid out, with plenty of space for the suitcase and personal belongings. The bedrooms and bathrooms are sparkling clean, the common areas are cosy, there's everything you need in terms of kitchen utensils, the water pressure in the showers is amazing, the rooftop is a really place to hang out in the evenings, and most of all, the host Patricia makes you feel at home. We originally booked a two-bed room without a window, but the boss was very nice and upgraded us to a room with a window, one large and one small. When we entered the room, it had just been cleaned and disinfectant was used, which made us feel relieved. The sanitation was very clean and there was no odor. Friends who come to Hong Kong for the first time must make a good guide and never judge the living environment in Hong Kong, where every inch of land is worth a lot of money, by the accommodation standards in the mainland. The original plan was to stay only one night and then change to a better hotel, but after staying there, we decisively extended the room because it was not noisy at night and slept very well. A few steps downstairs is the E2 exit of the Mong Kok subway station. Mannings, Sasa, and Sneaker Street are just downstairs, which is convenient for travel and eating. I saved the accommodation fee and bought a lot of chocolates for my son and skin care products for my friends. I forgot to take pictures because I was playing outside from morning to night, and I had to go downstairs for supper when I came back at night. Haha!
