Its was great like always..during check in rooms are maxed and getting an interconnecting rooms is difficult. The hotel staff Harvin who serves provides a wonderful service as he tried his very best to get the rooms that we initially asked for, after a few moments we managed to get it and all thanks to Harvin great service and always with a smile. A hotel maybe be 5 star or new amenities in it…but its the people that brings the hotel to a whole different level and great service to its customers..kudos to Village Hotel Bugis..

Overall, it was a good experience. The door can be missed as sometimes there is a queue blocking it. Upon arrival, I'm greeted by the smell of teh tarik, which operates just beside the hotel door. Service by the hotel was excellent. Booked the hotel at the last minute and they were swift in their response. Had some difficulty with the app but John, the Guest Experience Manager helped me. He also gave a short briefing and kindly showed my room although the instruction were given prior before my arrival. The other staff - Heera and Chanada were also friendly and helpful in assisting me during my short stay with them. The hotel has almost everything that I need except for food. Not really an issue as there are a lot of nearby eateries. If you feel lazy in finding for food, just head to the entrance where you'll find the teh tarik. They do sell drinks and some food, although they are not part of the hotel. Washing machine & dryer are easy to operate. Surprised but I'm grateful and appreciative that they have cutlery & a small kitchen including bowl, plate. It came in handy esp if you are lazy to go out and still have leftover food or if you have fruits which you need to cut. The only thing that requires your effort is to take out the trash and throw in the green bin, which could be found along the street. Will definitely book this hotel in for my future stay.

Clean washrooms, clean & nice smelling capsules. Very spacious and location is good too! Checked in pretty late but the staff assisting over the line guided me patiently and clearly. Breakfast was a plus. Definitely the best capsule hotel I’ve ever stayed in Kampong Gelam. Highly recommended 👍🏻

Met a space Pod @Arab Stret is such a great hotel. Price is so cheap and there are lots of convinience things around hotel. (Pub, convinience store,) and hotel location is also so nice. many tourist places such as China town, Bugis, Merlion etc. are near hotel. Bugis MRT station is a little big far but it just takes 5-10 mins by walking. if you are so lazy in hot weather, I don't recommend you here but I believe in that you would not choose to travel in singapore if you hate hotteness. all staffs here are also very kind :) I'm sure you won't regret if you choose to stay here. enjoy your trip with this hotel

A little underwhelming on the service side of stuff. It’s odd how one tiny service hiccup can spoil the entire trip. Let me explain. I have requested for a birthday cake for my gf for her birthday. Had emailed the hotel and the hotel have confirmed that a cake will be delivered. Upon checking in, I have also confirmed this arrangement with the reception and was asked not to put the “do not disturb” sign on so that they can enter the room to put the cake. We went out for our dinner and came back, there was no cake on the table. This was around 9.30pm. I found it odd so I called the operator, the operator then asked when did I requested for this, I was confused since this is a Hyatt brand hotel, why would the hotel staff asked me this. Nevertheless, I told her I requested for it sometime back and have also confirmed the arrangement at the front desk. She said she will make the arrangements, after about 20 mins or so, no cake still, I called the operator again and asked about it, she said the duty manager have made the arrangements, shortly after, the cake came, I saw that the birthday card was address to me instead of my gf. The thing I’m not happy about is how there is a lack of communication between the hotel staff and furthermore it was addressed to the wrong person. It’s even more sad that this experience is from one of the biggest hotel groups out there. I’ve been to hotels such as park royal and grand park and they were so much more on the ball. I guess paying the most doesn’t get you the best experience. View, rooms and amenities were great but did not compensated for the human touch of things.

The facilities is clean and well maintained. The ambience is peaceful and front desk staff are efficient! My roommates are respectful and everyone abide by the rules. Maybe a few things is a minus, like the wifi connection is slightly laggy at times. Overall, my first capsule hotel experience is great and I would definitely come again!

For the price paid, the cleanliness and amenities are good. There's even a bath tub and swimming pool. Although the room is dated, it is of acceptable cleanliness. Comfortable for short stays due to proximity to many eating places. Free parking for guests is on first come first served basis.

The single room I lived in, it was written that there was no window, but there was actually one. The air conditioner was under the open window, probably for the purpose of repairing the window of the air conditioner. But it was noisy outside with the window open and a lot of ash drifted in. The size is just right, and the bed and pillows are very comfortable. There are tables and chairs. general economic comfort

Upon arrival, me & my partner was greeted by 2 receptionists. The malay lady at the reception was very helpful & bubbly. Check-in was smooth. The only issue was when the reception forgot to grant access to our keycards (we had to tap onto the reader in the lift to access the hotel floors). Upon entering our room, we were astounded by the layout & design of our room. It was our first stay in a Pan Pacific Serviced Suite. There was a kitchenette with all of the basic tools & essentials provided! I was blown away as I thought of cooking a romantic dinner for our 2nd night stay there. The bed was comfortable & everything was perfect. The only disappointing thing I did not like was 1) there were no smart TVs (so no Netflix & chills) & 2) no bidet installed. About 10mins after checking out the rooms, the lady at the reception called to check if everything was okay. Wow! Talk about great service! This was the first ever a hotel staff checked on us! Truly amazing customer service! 2nd day we had breakfast. Breakfast is very limited. Not much of a spread, but no complaints as I was still happy breakfast was served. Before anyone books this hotel, please take note no breakfasts on Sundays. Location wise, Kampong Glam is conveniently located right in front of the Hotel. Bugis Junction, Village & Plus is just a stone throw away, so does the MRT! We managed to utilise most of the facilites they had! The Inifinity Pool is a must to go! At 7pm, it was very cold and windy. We enjoyed our time at night, having the pool to ourselves at night! Gym facitiies is open 24/7 whereas the pool is open from 6.30am - 11pm. To sum up, a 3D2N stay is not enough for us. We could actually explore more of Kampong Glam & its history & the culture. We could have utilised the kitchen more often too. Given another chance, I would come back to Pan Pacific Serviced Suites Beach Road. Perhaps, a longer stay here. The possibilites here are endless!

If other hotel, the cake given probably like left over and not fresh. Service by the lounge staff were all friendly, even though kids are not allowed in the lounge, we can still bring the food to our room! The gym, pool and the Ginger restaurant all tip top and satisfactory! We will visit here again for sure! Location very strategic with lots of eatery just across the road.

The room size and decoration were good. The bed was super comfy and the washroom was clean and well equipped. Suggestions: 1) If facilities (gym and pool) can open till later time (rather than most closed at 9pm). 2) The room was a bit too dark for me and missing some desk area - since I was on a business trip that I want to work sometimes in the room. Here is my appreciation to the reception and the concierge staffs, who have been very helpful in getting/arranging taxi for me a couple of times during my 4 days stay. Thank you!

The location is very ideal and convenient. The view is nice. However, the hotel is very old and run down, the toilet had creepy crawlies coming out from the walls. I would rather you pay more to stay in a hotel which has better hygiene standards.

The location of the hotel is good and the suite is very big. There are also 2 bathrooms available for the 2 bedroom suites which makes it much more convenient. 1 thing that can be further improved would be the cleanliness of the hotel. The carpet was wet when we checked in and there are also food (?) stains on the carpet in one of the room. Overall it is a great stay and I would return again.

The room was very comfortable. Was offered to upgrade to a bigger room with a bathtub at a price, glad we did although the bathtub was missing. The swimming pool however could do with a heater. The guests would appreciate swimming without shivering. But this is great for parents as it will be effortless to pull out their children from hours of playing in the water. The dining hall 'Lime' was great. Seats were comfortable. The breakfast spread however could a bit better, easily overshadowed by other smaller hotels. Could have a halal section or menu could be muslim friendly. The muslims are willing to spend. Market research should be done. Check out other muslim friendly restaurants at the orchard belt. They are packed daily. Overall, a great stay, albeit the shortfalls, the staff more than makes up for it.

Not super duper clean I saw a few strands of hair in the sink and towels were a little stained (which was changed upon request) overall the toilet cleanliness is decent 3.5/5 however the room is super worth it. The staff are also very friendly and gave us a high floor upon request. Location is great as there’s many food places including a beautiful park and temple. 7/11 as well. With a mall that had all the essentials. We also had some issues which caused some noise and they came in to check first if everything is okay before giving us a warning. I loved that they were caring before doing their duty although they didn’t have to! Thank you for your service. For the price I’ll definitely come back 😉

Long queue at check-in because there are big tour groups from Indonesia and India. Roy at Front Desk was patient and did the check in for me very quickly. Even upgraded to Executive Floor noting that it’s my birthday staycay. However, the tv signal is very lousy. Not stable and always hanged. Got their technician to come but couldn’t fix it. Only told to restart the adaptor but problem never solved. Called operator again but subsequently never send anyone over to fix the tv. Displeased. Breakfast is another disappointment too. Spread is average and quality is mediocre. Should have go out for breakfast instead. Love their “green” initiative where we can top up drinking water at various temperature and various quantity at every floor. No more plastic bottles. 👍🏻

Carlton City has always been our first choice to recommend for our friends when they travel to Singapore for business. The great service provided has this personalised touch to it. Rooms are clean and comfortable, quoting my friends “feels like home”, breakfast at Plate is tasteful with good variety. Looking forward to coming back here every time.

(1.Size and cleanliness of the room) 1.The room size for a premium balcony is average not too big or small. Can fit about 3 adults comfortably. Would recommend to book a bigger room if you are bringing kids. table at the balcony at a hole and the floor was unkept. Little speck of dust flying around. No sippers were provided so if you are walking bare Foot be prepared for an unpleasant feeling of the sticky somewhat slimly floor. Over all 4.5/10 (2. Customer service) 2. Customer service was not really up to standard. When I greeted the counter staff after waiting on line for almost 30 minutes I got back a blank look. Understood the staff was a trainee but the first thing you should always do is greet back. It was chaotic at the check in Lobby. Overall 3.5/10 It was a good stay I will recommend everyone to try it and feel for themselves. This is my personal opinion. So have a great new year 🎇

Simple staycay. Location was the best. Love the design of the place and love the gym the most! The decor is inspiring. The room is pretty small for my room type. Stayed at LYF funan for the first time. It was a easy check in as the front desk staff gave clear instructions. I was lucky to score a larger room for the disabled but it had a connecting door. Lucky, it was a quiet stay despite World Cup season. There’s a small work out area on the 5th floor with free weights and some simple cycling machines. The treadmill is special like a hamster wheel design. The pool is part of the mall’s gym and not assessable from the hotel. The shared kitchen on the 4th floor was not bad as I was able to store my food in full sized fridge which was not so full. Although there was expired food still in there. I was also able to heat up food using the microwave or use the pot to cook noodles. Not many utensils available. There was two cleaning ladies who were rather rude, always eyeing me and pointing out that I cannot use this utensil to cook as they deemed it not appropriate. One of them also used a gloved hand to touch my plate with food which I felt disgusted by as the glove was obviously used. There was no TV in the room but I brought my laptop so could still watch shows. There’s a dart machine at the lobby which had cheap games which was fun and the location was really good, easy to get food and get around. Would recommend and would check out the other LYF properties in SG as well.
