We booked Villa Puriartha at the last minute due to changes in our travel plans. The hotel and our room (Deluxe Double Room) were both fairly basic, however, it was all clean and everything worked fine. You are required to request room cleaning and towel swapping as a move to be more environmentally friendly which was good to see. We did not eat in the hotel so I cannot comment on this. There are many restaurants on the road around the hotel as well as a pharmacy and Circle K nearby which was good. The staff are very friendly and were helpful in assisting the booking of different activities in Ubud. To get into the main centre of Ubud you can either walk down Jl. Monkey Forest, however, if you are not a fan of the monkeys, I would suggest walking along Jl. Hanoman towards Ubud Palace.

It's super great. When you arrive at the lobby, the music of special instruments and the specially provided drinks will make you feel like a vacation immediately. This is Bali. The environment is very good, and the standards of star hotels are all met. The only fault that needs to be picked is that there may be ants in the semi-open bathroom and several doors must be locked. Everything else is great. Water is unlimited. The spa in the hotel is also the best I have ever experienced. There is no technology and hard work, just pure and simple massage in place, and the timing is just right. What a lovely place to stay in Ubud. Beautiful staff, super clean, loads of little touches (including international adaptors), pool was perfect, close to everything with amazing restaurants close by. Nothing was a problem, from getting our washing done, to lending us towels for a day trip, to changing room configurations immediately. We loved it and it made our holiday perfect. Thank you for making Ubud magical for us 🤍

Stayed in 1BR villa and was pleasantly surprised with the size of the property. Location is perfect — it’s amongst the main streets and shops of Ubud but the hotel property has its rooms and villas situation deeper within so guests are shielded from any street noise and commotion. Breakfast menu was different and the kitchen does not provide dinner service but that was of no consequence because of its fantastic location — restaurants and shops were right outside. Service from staff was polite and efficient. Would definitely stay again and recommended friends to stay as well. Thank you for beautiful anniversary decorations!

The hotel is in the Ubud market area, but since the small street in the Ubud market is really long, it is still a long way from the hotel to the core area of the Ubud market and the Ubud Palace. I don’t want to come back when I walked in the evening. The surrounding area is very busy, dirty duck meal, coco supermarket is next to it, but it is very quiet to enter the hotel, Bali tropical garden style. The room is also the original ecological style of Bali, still very clean, but there is no toiletries, and the amount of hot water is too small, not too hot, I am a bit unacceptable for the hot water requirements. The door is a simple wooden door. After leaving the room, there will be a large gap between the locks. I feel that the child can get in and feel a little worried about safety. The hotel staff was very welcoming and sent juice at the door. The breakfast was simple but the taste was good.

Hotel location is very good, quiet in the middle of noisy. The environment is too ecological. On the first night we stayed, there were 2 or 3 geckos in the room, and a snake crawled into the bathtub, which was terrible. Immediately informed the hotel staff, and soon came over to deal with it, always apologize to us, good attitude! The breakfast environment is very good, and I am in a good mood in the face of a rice field. Most of the hotels are foreigners, the room decoration, facilities and equipment are a bit old, others are quite good.

Stayed at the hotel for a week. The location is excellent. A bunch of restaurants, cafes, after 3 steps-Spa. There are pools (2 pcs). Excellent beds. The owner is very friendly. The rooms are decent for the price. Every morning there is a thermos on the table (they bring it at about 7 am), as well as coffee, tea, sugar. So morning coffee is guaranteed. The place is very quiet (but it depends on the guests:)). True, the side partitions between the rooms are thin and you will hear your neighbors as if they were on the next bed :). It didn’t bother us much, because. no one is in the room all day. Also keep in mind that WiFi is very slow and it is better to buy a card right there 3 steps to the left of the hotel. There are wonderful girls and they will advise what is needed, and they do not breed. The rooms are being cleaned, but if this is not the case, just let us know. Every evening I asked for a thermos, for evening tea drinking there were no problems. We are very pleased with the hotel and the location and the owners. Feel free to take it.

Friendly greetings at all times, we had the pool access room. The bed was one of the best we've slept in. The shower over the bath wasn't our cup of tea. The room was clean but the bed facing tv didn't work. Once off the main road it was quiet but the night club next door roared to life at midnight. . The breakfast was sensational and varied slightly each day. After hours meals and room service was very accommodating. The fridge was not the greatest in keeping thing chilled but adequate. The pool (the longest I've seen) with a hidden waterslide was lovely and views from the top pool and deck was special

Beautiful hotel. The building, gardens, ocean view, swimming pools, foods and everything. Perfect. I love the main gate they have. Perfect spot for taking pic. The front desk senior staff helped us. More training needed for junior staff. Try to eat in tamarind and order their risotto with scallop. Yummy.

The villa is not well prepared for my family staycation. We had broken tv, bathroom electricity black out at one of the room. Super slow internet even just to watch the Netflix. Not recommended for digital nomad out there. Living room quite dusty and got kinda moldy roof smell when we turn on the fan. Really need to improve the service quality especially for local guest.

Staff is really friendly and respectful. The location is in the main road so you won't be able to enjoy anything in a walking distance however all beaches are 5km away from the location. You can enjoy by renting a scooter from nearby areas. I enjoyed dining at the hotel, they have local and western cuisines. Swimming pool may cost you extra buck if you want to swim. I stay with Aston properties before and I enjoy their service, so I would recommend this hotel to anyone who is looking for affordable yet good service hotels in Bali.

1. The aircon was very loud and noisy . Informed staff and they sent a workman to fix it the next day . It made no difference. They offered to send someone in the following day but i felt it was becoming an invasion of privacy so declined 2. Mosquitoes in the room . I recommend nets over the bed as i was a feast for them overnight . The staff offered fly spray but i didnt want to inhale the toxic staff while there. I checked out a night early as i didnt feel this to be a relaxing experience. The hotel is reasonably priced though and the grounds and architecture pleasant otherwise

Great location, stones throw from the beach. Room was nice and spacious, didn’t miss a balcony. Breakfast wasn’t as good as expected, the milk & smoothies were left out, we tried a smoothie and it had go sour. Would book again it hasn’t put me off. The pool on the roof is definitely its best feature. And the restaurant choice on an evening on the beach is something completely different and special.

It’s the perfect place if you have an early flight - with the most comfortable bed!! Everything is nice and clean and the people are amazingly friendly. I loved how helpful and kind they all were. It’s not at the best location, as Bali has tooo many other beautiful beaches and this hotel is not situated at one of those beautiful beaches. Other than that, I can’t complain at all. I had a great evening there with an early morning flight. The hotel shuttle to the airport was free and they packed a lovely breakfast for me to take to the airport since I left too early to get breakfast at the hotel.

What an incredible stay at Holiday Inn Resort Nusa Dua! The service provided was impeccable, starting off with an upgrade to an ocean view room when our pool view room was undergoing maintenance upon our arrival, followed by complimentary fruit and chocolates as another apology, along with a chocolate cake and bed decorations for our anniversary. All staff members were so friendly, helpful and approachable throughout the whole week of our stay. Also nice to see that feedback forms are actually acknowledged and acted upon very promptly (unlike other places) as we made a simple suggestion for the breakfast to include avocado and hollandaise sauce and the next two days staff members offered us specially cooked eggs benedict with avocado. Cannot fault a single thing about our experience and without a doubt will be back to stay in the future! Special mention to duty manager Geksa who frequently checked in with us and went above and beyond to make our stay so enjoyable!

Movenpick is a beautiful hotel and was our final stop on our two-week stay between Bali and Lombok. We were initially booked into the wrong room (twin, not double) but this was sorted immediately. Good selection at the breakfast buffet but I do think the hotel is missing a trick by not cooking fresh crepes for guests. All the little touches made the stay great. We were a bit let down that service was slow and it was a struggle to find two sun loungers, even when we were up early. For guests staying in the hotel after check out before getting picked up, the hotel provides a room to shower in. This can be booked at reception and is cleaned between uses. All in all, a lovely stay.
