We had the slight misfortune of being picked up from the airport by a local transport driver with a car without air-conditioning - I called The Natsepa and Pak Jayadi sent within minutes 2 cars to retrieve our overheated guests. Ibu Alina made check in as smooth as possible, Pak Devi looked after all of our F&B requirements and Chef Rusdi constantly checked up to see if all was up to scratch with our beach BBQ and breakfasts. We fully understood that Ambon has seen a lack of guests since the pandemic and we appreciated every effort made by staff to ensure our guests were looked after. Mr. Garcia, the GM was always on hand to check in and ensure we were always okay. Looking forward to seeing you all again.

Terrible Hotel. Rooms are old, the air conditioning took 6 hours to get a small room to 24C, and it is the noisiest hotel I have ever stayed in around the globe. Almost impossible to get a good night's sleep due to the single pane windows and the intolerable traffic noise that is 20 hours per day. Food is mediocre and finally the hotel is really good at taking payment but when funds are to be refunded they make it so difficult that you want to walk away. They are unable to refund your credit card directly and then keep adding ”charges” so that effectively you dont get any of the money owed to you. But if you pay, the money is taken immediately from your card. Find another hotel if you have to stay in Ambon.

Le Golden Palace est très bien situé à Ambon à environ 40’ de l’aéroport. (Tarif aéroport à l’hôtel entre 100 000 et 150 000 IDR). Il offre tout le confort, chambre propre et bien équipé, wifi haut débit partout, le petit déjeuner est complet et peu être pris sur la petite terrasse qui donne sur la rue. Mais le gros avantage de cet hôtel est le pool house sur son rooftop avec une belle et grande piscine, service de bar et de restaurant qui offre une belle vue à 360 degrés sur la ville et ses alentours. Seul bémol, les tarifs, autant des chambres et du bar et de la restauration qui sont un peu élevés malgré les prestations fournies.
