Stayed in Bali in February and was expecting accommodation exactly like the photos but it wasn’t what we expected. It’s quite fun down, assuming due to the tourism industry being slow after covid and not having enough business to upkeep the premises. We had 3 villas booked. With 2 people in each villa. The first villa constantly had power issues where the power kept cutting out. The second villa had issues where the bathroom floor was continuously being flood just from having a shower. The third villa had shower issues where there was barely enough water pressure to wash your hair. In all of the rooms- • bedside drawers were all falling off the walls and were hanging on an angle//slope. If you put a drink or anything on the drawer, it slides down. • housekeeping is listed on their website as daily but when you’re there you only get housekeeping every second day. Heads up, if you want housekeeping to change your bedsheets properly, I recommend pulling all sheets, covers & pillowcases off your bed and put them on the floor so they are definitely putting on new ones. Sometimes when you don’t, they’ll just pull up and tighten the sheets already on there to make it look fresh and clean. • bedsheets were old and stained. Pillowcases were dirty and constantly felt like they were damp//moist. Pillows inside pillowcases were dirty and stained. Some blankets and sheets had brown marks or blood marks. • paint was coming off the walls and looked like they had water damage. • bath wasn’t clean when we entered and entire bathroom had a mouldy smell the entire stay. • towels always had a funny mouldy smell and weren’t clean. • pool size was different for all 3 villas. One villa had a pool that would only fit 2 people. Another Villa fit 4 of us. The other Villa could fit 6 of us but wasn’t as deep as the other pools. • tiles were also coming off the floor in all of the pools which could be a hazard to your feet. • outdoor beds next to the pool were dirty and loudly. Sheets covering the outdoor mattress had stains and a mouldy smell. The aircon in the rooms worked well especially with the high heat temperatures during our stay. The staff were nice. We also found that it was an easy location for us to get to markets and close stores // supermarkets to buy water etc. for our stay. I wouldn’t recommend these villas unless they do a refurbishment of most rooms and provide new bedding etc.

My daughter and I are still enjoying our vacation here at this moment. We booked a Villa Deluxe, which actually looks exactly like the pictures when we booked. The staff is awesome. More service is not possible♥️You call that the WiFi is not working and 3 minutes later you are helped. You have an animal (big beetle😂) in the room and someone comes. 👍. We had booked half board. The first 2 days there was only one menu for half board with 5 dishes to choose from. We mentioned this once and we were able to order from the large menu at any time. Nothing is left to be desired and we can absolutely recommend this accommodation. A shuttle will take you to the beach at 11 a.m./3 p.m./5 p.m. However, you will not be picked up. We had a great holiday here and felt very comfortable. Doreen & Maleen

Kumpul Kumpul was a lovely retreat from the hustle and bustle of Seminyak. Given its handy location to everything it was so quiet and a perfect escape. Although the bathrooms are in need of a little upgrade ( I am sure they will once they recover from covid), it was super clean and what you would expect of a 3-star hotel. Staying with family we had our own villas and our own space with our 2 bedroom villa providing the space for our families to come together when when we wanted. The shared pool was great and a lot of the time had it to ourselves and it was open 24/7. But it is great to also meet people cause that is why you come on holiday. The staff were gorgeous and happy to do whatever they could to make our stay the best. The beds are firm( we love a firm bed) and pillows perfects in height and softness- we had the best sleeps with our rooms being air conditioned. Breakfasts were great - the best nasi-goreng I had the whole trip and the omelette's were the best! Plus cold and hot water dispenser. All in all a lovely non pretentious place to stay - which was our home away from home. We would definitely stay again!

Close to the seaside, within walking distance. Also close to the airport. There are no windows in the room and bathroom. The public area is nice, with a pavilion and a kitchen and swimming pool. The room is also equipped with a hairdryer and a refrigerator. There is also a rod for hanging clothes. After washing the clothes, you can take them outside to dry, which is very convenient. The shortcomings are that the cleaning is average, the walls are moldy, the bathroom is also moldy, and the toilet flushing effect is average. Because there are no railings on the stairs, stray dogs will come up. When I checked out and went to the airport, I encountered a stray dog ​​at the door of the room. Call the front desk and help get me to the car. The front desk and staff are nice, and Indonesian people are very kind.

Friendly greetings at all times, we had the pool access room. The bed was one of the best we've slept in. The shower over the bath wasn't our cup of tea. The room was clean but the bed facing tv didn't work. Once off the main road it was quiet but the night club next door roared to life at midnight. . The breakfast was sensational and varied slightly each day. After hours meals and room service was very accommodating. The fridge was not the greatest in keeping thing chilled but adequate. The pool (the longest I've seen) with a hidden waterslide was lovely and views from the top pool and deck was special

Staff is really friendly and respectful. The location is in the main road so you won't be able to enjoy anything in a walking distance however all beaches are 5km away from the location. You can enjoy by renting a scooter from nearby areas. I enjoyed dining at the hotel, they have local and western cuisines. Swimming pool may cost you extra buck if you want to swim. I stay with Aston properties before and I enjoy their service, so I would recommend this hotel to anyone who is looking for affordable yet good service hotels in Bali.

1. The aircon was very loud and noisy . Informed staff and they sent a workman to fix it the next day . It made no difference. They offered to send someone in the following day but i felt it was becoming an invasion of privacy so declined 2. Mosquitoes in the room . I recommend nets over the bed as i was a feast for them overnight . The staff offered fly spray but i didnt want to inhale the toxic staff while there. I checked out a night early as i didnt feel this to be a relaxing experience. The hotel is reasonably priced though and the grounds and architecture pleasant otherwise

Great location, stones throw from the beach. Room was nice and spacious, didn’t miss a balcony. Breakfast wasn’t as good as expected, the milk & smoothies were left out, we tried a smoothie and it had go sour. Would book again it hasn’t put me off. The pool on the roof is definitely its best feature. And the restaurant choice on an evening on the beach is something completely different and special.

It’s the perfect place if you have an early flight - with the most comfortable bed!! Everything is nice and clean and the people are amazingly friendly. I loved how helpful and kind they all were. It’s not at the best location, as Bali has tooo many other beautiful beaches and this hotel is not situated at one of those beautiful beaches. Other than that, I can’t complain at all. I had a great evening there with an early morning flight. The hotel shuttle to the airport was free and they packed a lovely breakfast for me to take to the airport since I left too early to get breakfast at the hotel.

What an incredible stay at Holiday Inn Resort Nusa Dua! The service provided was impeccable, starting off with an upgrade to an ocean view room when our pool view room was undergoing maintenance upon our arrival, followed by complimentary fruit and chocolates as another apology, along with a chocolate cake and bed decorations for our anniversary. All staff members were so friendly, helpful and approachable throughout the whole week of our stay. Also nice to see that feedback forms are actually acknowledged and acted upon very promptly (unlike other places) as we made a simple suggestion for the breakfast to include avocado and hollandaise sauce and the next two days staff members offered us specially cooked eggs benedict with avocado. Cannot fault a single thing about our experience and without a doubt will be back to stay in the future! Special mention to duty manager Geksa who frequently checked in with us and went above and beyond to make our stay so enjoyable!

Movenpick is a beautiful hotel and was our final stop on our two-week stay between Bali and Lombok. We were initially booked into the wrong room (twin, not double) but this was sorted immediately. Good selection at the breakfast buffet but I do think the hotel is missing a trick by not cooking fresh crepes for guests. All the little touches made the stay great. We were a bit let down that service was slow and it was a struggle to find two sun loungers, even when we were up early. For guests staying in the hotel after check out before getting picked up, the hotel provides a room to shower in. This can be booked at reception and is cleaned between uses. All in all, a lovely stay.
